I forget what happened other than the Japs put LRCAP over Medan and shot down about 15 Vengeance. I blame the staff.

Imperial High Command announce they can see an "invasion force near Truk". Hmmm? Maybe they mean the transports at Ponape? Or Eniweetok? But the main invasion force is assembling at Wotje, which is > 1000 mi from Truk. I told him it was a "fishing excursion"
