Fatigue and disruption are at pretty epic levels there. Some rest and a stout 2nd wave are called for.

But look at the experience levels...those guys are truly veterans...and as soon as they recover they'll give some good hell to the japs!

Surprised the disruption level of the engineers is so low compared to the others

yes...watching the replay it seemed that were the eng those who suffered the most...[&:]

Ok...we'll try another air attack against Hachinoe tomorrow. Sweeps + Escort (no LRCAP after the debacles of yesterday). Ching Lee will bomb again with his BBs, while the rest of the fleet will remain under a strong CAP at Hakodate, loading the second wave. With the next turn we should have everything loaded and ready to sail...gotta run before he sends in more troops...already 165 units...4500 guns...[X(]... but the japs aren't invincible! So let's don't be sissies and let's face our fate with the pride of those who know what honour is[&o]

Looking pretty good without the bombing. With it next time, and with some time softening them up, it might be even better. Your tanks took the brunt of this one it looks like. Are they doing okay? Or are there a lot of Mech support destroyed as well?

A part from a tank BN which has been completely destroyed, the ret pf my tank units look good...think all those vehickes are from mot support squads...

Tomorrow we'll also bombard with our arty units which are in a perfect shape...let's see if the 155mm is better than those crappy japanese guns [:D]

Well, with any luck he'll interpret that massive air attack on Ominato as where your second wave is going. [;)]

Anyway, this whole invasion looks sustainable. Tokyo by Christmas!

Good luck, mi amigo!

EDIT: Any chance of making good use of your paras?

Another turn and another evidence that there's a problem with ground attack...my bombers, no matter what i do, keep on targetting Ominato instead of Hachinoe.... this may break our hopes...[:o]

That's no good. Maybe Rader put MichaelM under a spell that made him alter the latest patch so that 4Es can no longer bomb ground troops in a clear hex! [:D]

I hope it gets worked out soon!

How much did your disruption and fatigue come down?

Distruption levels and fatigue ones have dropped of 20/25 points...i think in 4/6 days we should be back to a normal value...but thta's really the last of my problems...without the 2E and the 4Es there's no hope of breaking through...

I have had the same issue...Ground attacks often just seem to go where the IJA has the most flak, regardless of one`s specific orders...

Michealm is taking a look....but he told me that there was a bug that "Without looking at the save, there was a bug that forced LBAs bombing hexes with own troops present to cancel the ground attack and go 'commander choice'.
That was beta 1108d
."......

...it's exactly what's happening here....

Michealm is an hero...but i need to halt the game again...cannot play without the air2ground support [:@]

In my game I was bombing at Sian with plenty of my troops there and had no problems. Must be one of the later betas?

I think we're on 1108q8a

Confirmed by Michealm (who is an hero!): it's a bug "The code doesn't think it needs to get a list of things in the current hex as it already has the current list in memory. But the list is of Allied units, not Japanese. Thus why it thinks it should not be bombing the hex."

Will you back up again to before the latest few turns? Could help you out this time and seems only fair since you're wasted assets bombing a non-strategic target in Ominato.
