Guten Abend, Odin. Long time no see.

In other news, I just lost 172 B-17s in one day at BtR. That's a bad performance, even for me.[:D]

172?!!!!! uh oh.

Really awful. The 8th Air Force will be out of the fight for several weeks.

It was fairly harmless till a poster politicized it with comments about Japanese atrocities and actions.

I didn't get that far into the reading. Some people lack perspective...

That must have been after I read that thread as well.

Just consider it a gift/turd from YH that kept on giving/floating. Wish he was still around.

Sent 330+ Forts and about 250 fighters to Cologne on a raid, and they were shredded. It was too early to do it.

172 sounds pretty excessive....more so if you had escorts.

I love the forums [:D]  People getting wound up about the lack of game balance caused by loading screen pictures [:D]

I found the same amusement in that one. [:D]

5 YO boy. He'll be fine, just the whole 'kid with fever, aches and cough' thing for 5 days. Unless you're one of the severely affected kids (usually with underlying medical conditions), it's a pretty typical bout of influenza, albeit a bit more 'catchy' than most of the garden variety seasonal Influenza B viruses are.

Hope s/he gets better soon. And doesnt infect too many of the rest of you.
Thanks for the kind wishes. Too late for granny and grandpa-they are going through their febrile bouts now. Still (knock on wood) holding out some hope for respite for younger sister unit, wife and I.
