A blonde asked someone what time it was, and they told her it was 4:45. The blonde, with a puzzled look on her face replied, "You know, it's the weirdest thing, I have been asking that question all day, and each time I get a different answer."

I don't get it - why was the time different? Were their watches broken or what? [&:]

That depends on what TIME you need to awaken.

You got it all backwards. You set the alarm for the time when it is time to go to bed. Why would anyone want to set the alarm to awake oneself. Pure torture.

I thought I would give that a try Ormster. I don't think the results were quite as expected......

On Thursday evening I set the alarm for 11 o'clock. Unfortunately I was so tired I had actually drifted off to sleep about an hour earlier. The alarm then went off and I had to get up to turn it off. Well you know how it is - I could not then get back to sleep.

In consequence I was late waking up the following day and so missed a vital business meeting. This resulted in me losing my job and as a result my wife has left me.

Orm, if you have anymore bright ideas, could I respectfully ask you to shove them where the sun does not shine?

You must avoid rookie mistakes and go to sleep before the alarm rings.

I think you will find young Ormster, that the sun does indeed shine in Antartica, and, as A-ha pointed out in 1986, the Sun Always Shines on T.V. However mccolleague it does not shine up your (blackadder music intervenes at the appropriate moment).

This is the point that parusski's birthday goes wrong. He just can't understand why, after 4058 hits and 578 posts(unfreakinbelievable) no one has answered the question correctly.
