Chinese artillery bombard Hanoi.

Two Soviet bombers ground strike the German forces in Vitebsk. They are escorted by one fighter. Germany can intercept with one fighter.

CW, and USA, reorganize their forces in Malaya.

Over to Lord Warspite1 for the second part of our impulse.

Land Movement:
Soviet Union

Zhukov and Rokossovsky combine forces to move on Vitebsk. Elsewhere there is a general move westward.

Communist Chinese

Mao's Western Army join forces with the Eastern to become.... well, The Army [:)]. Haichow is now invested from all sides.

China

Meanwhile Chiang's army gets up close and personal with the Japanese in Hanoi.

Debark:
United States

A GARR off loads northwest of Gibraltar, while a second GARR enters Cadiz along with the XXV Armoured Corps.

Land Combat:
US/CW

The Indian and US forces in Malaya deal with the second partisan in the mountains.

Soviet Union

The Soviets line up an attack against Vitebsk. No aircraft are brought in by the Soviets. What do the Germans want to do?

Please see picture for odds and what can fly (the Soviets have nothing that can intercept).

Germany sends Hs 129 , Bf109 E-4 and Do 217. All as bombers.

Hs 129 lands to [46,54], 2 hexes south of Vitebsk, others to same hex they start.

Germany chooses assault table.

Germans units are destroyed in order: division, SS-INF.
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

The Germans add 7 factors to the fight. I'm damned if I can remember where the Dornier took off from so I've done my best to remember. If its wrong I'll have to re-do.

Do 217 started from 52,55 (west of Rumanian HQ). If it goes south of Pripet and adjacent to any unit it should be good.

Land Combat (cont):
Western Allies

The automatic attack in Malaya went automatically [;)]. The Indian mobile columns move into Larut to restore order.

Soviet Union

The attack on Vitebsk is 1:1 + 1 on the Assault table. There is no throw for fractionals.

The roll was a 2(3) meaning one loss to the Soviets. Both Engineer and white-print bonuses were used but there is only one loss to take. The program has taken the loss from the Engineer first so I am assuming that is correct.

Rebase:
USA
An Avenger lands in Spain.
A fighter moves from Casablanca to southern Spain.
A Maryland bomber moves to the Gulf of Bothnia

Commonwealth
A fighter in Liverpool rebases to Portsmouth.
A Beaufort, also in Liverpool, rebases to the Shetland Islands

Soviet Union

A MiG-3 rebases north of Smolensk

Reorganisation:
Soviet Union

Zhukov reorganises three infantry and a fighter.

End of Turn:
The turn ends on less than an 8. A 3 is thrown.

I think so too. I think only PARA unit goes before ENG.

I guessed at (52,56) so it's stacked with the HQ. Any good?

There is a return from whence function that can be used to get aircraft to return to their start hex.

Two fairly strong partisans appear in China. See picture.

One weak partisan appears in Spain. Alas, there was no hex behind the Axis lines that the partisan could appear so it is placed behind the Allied lines. [:D]

The partisans does not affect production.

Good to know [:)]

There should also be ”all ships stay at sea” button for turn end.
