AllenK has not been online, so I make call to Axis go first.

Germany needs to react USSR attack by counter attack. Germany prepares to push USSR forces back 10-20 hexes during this turn [;)]
Shouldn't be all that hard. There are 10-20 empty hexes between the Soviet lines and the German lines. [;)] The difficulty will be in keeping them. [:D]
Nobody is laughing in Berlin! [:@] (At least anymore. One colonel did, he voluntared to lead attack across non frozen lake in USSR).

Moscow stopps joking when (not if, when) entire line is pushed 20 hexes east. I counted, line is 20 hexes long. So Germany is going to get 400 hexes without any own losses. And USSR counter attack with O-chit fails too.

One might wonder if we are looking at same map and playing same game [;)]

Edit: I first wrote ”20 hexes back”. You would have said ”correct, 20 hexes west”.
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

Looking at the map, I conclude that there is a virulent plague in Kharkov, as no one seems to want to be near the place!
I thought I knew how to play this game....

Gents - any chance of some movement on this game? I only ask because it would be great to get a game finished [:)]

First up, Coral Sea.

The Jap sub initiates searching and sticks around to see what it can engage. As it happens, not a lot (Searches: Axis 7, Allies 1).

Next, Faeroes Gap. Same drill with the Italian sub. The Italians fare slightly better (Searches: Axis 1, Allies 3) and manage to elude the Allied hunter-killer group in the 3-box. The Italians use 2 of their surprise points avoiding some of the close escorts but take a bit of a hammering from the rest.

They do however have some effect. How would the Allies like to split the losses and where do the aborts go?

US takes the 2 D and 2 of the aborts. Put the US CPs in Glasgow if it is available and only US ships there.

The last abort is taken by a CW convoy and it aborts to Liverpool.

No declarations of war.

Land: USSR, China
Combined: USA
Naval: France, CW

No Port Strikes. No naval air.

Naval Movement:

France:
A French TRS sail from Libreville to CSV. It is loaded with one ATR.
1 Cp sail for Faeroes Gap

CW:
1 CP is added to Faeroes Gap.
1 CP is added to CSV.
A carrier fleet and a battleship fleet sail for CSV.
One TRS sail for Red Sea.
A lot of convoy escorts leave port.
Several TRS sail for the East Coast and embark various US units.

USA:
2 CPs sail for Faeroes Gap.
One CV, one BB, and one CA sail from San Diego to Auckland.
One BB is added to the fleet in the 4-box of CSV.

No naval searches. No strategic bombing.

China bombard the Japanese positions in Hanoi. Maybe some more training would help...
