Still maintaining a very slim 2:1 ratio on VPs.

China will still yield a few thousand more in troops and bases counteracting the losses in the Pacific and Australia.

Supplies, oil and fuel stocks are all very good. A6m5B and Judys are now being mass produced and excellent progress on the Frank.

Looking good to continuing the struggle in 45 (not sure how far into 45 I get though).

Weekend update- the grueling battle of attrition continues in China.

Pockets of cut off Chinese are slowly extinguished whilst the very timely commitment of Chinese reserves again (for the 100th time) prevents the vital break through.

Tank Divisions are being committed up North to maintain the presure.

Below- eliminating another cut off pocket at Tienshui

Counter attacking into the exposed flank of Commonwealth forces in Burma.

Touch and go how this plays out.

Allies recapture Fiji and Pago.

No one home from the Empire. Long since evacuated back to a more defensible position nearer to Guadalcanal and PNG.

Counter attack into the Commonwealth forces in Burma kicked off today with a shock attack by the Imperial Guards against an Indian Brigade which was subsequently mauled and forced back.

I may have sprung it slightly prematurely as the 4th Inf Div coming from the East did not have time to cut the road and complete the trap. Still the opportunity was too good to pass up and another mauled Indian unit will hurt given the extent of Allied ground casualties and replacement pools.

Another Chinese northern pocket largely eliminated.

Main show will start again soon when the 3 x Tk divs reinforce the main offensive to break into the open plains. Should be ready to kick off in 2 days.

Breakthrough + 1

The race is on to block Chinese forces from successfully retreating to Chungking.

Air is now being committed in large doses to slow and disrupt the retreating Chinese.

Reasonably heavy fighting in November with both sides taking losses

Moderate fighting in Burma as the IJA counter attacks on the flank with mixed results

Southern Burma & Thailand - Find some x3 terrain and place a division or two there (preferably broken down) to allow the troops to dig deep forts. There are not too paths of advance from Rangoon to Bangkok and "if" you could get a division to forts 4, that would mean he needs 4:1 odds to push it out after terrain modifications push your Assault Value up.

Good advice Mike- will do.

It will be interesting to see the impact on Burma with the recent events in China. I am hoping it will slow Lowpe down a bit.

China- Allied collapse is gaining pace in the central plains.

Next serious battle will be for Chungking.

20 odd Chinese units will be cut off shortly in the East. Happy days for the IJA.

China- The foxes are well and truly loose in the hen house.

There will be a couple of weeks and glory as armored units supported by Infantry divisions mow down and eliminate isolated Chinese pockets.

Then will come Chungking which will be a tough fight.

Burma- likely to see some very heavy fighting as it is merged into the Chinese theatre.

A2A has really picked up over the last few weeks as the Allies try to assert themselves. Not too worried at the moment but this may change in a few months. Extra ground units are being dispatched to form a reserve out of Rangoon.

South Pacific- a minor operation to retake Ndeni has stirred up a fairly significant reaction from Lowpe.

I believe a lone carrier flew air strikes against the invasion group but was repelled by the long range Cap provided by zeros and oscars.

Not sure whether to press on or see what Lowpe does next.

Japanese aircraft and engine factories are really starting to pick up production with new models rolling out nicely- A6M5b, Oscar III, and now the Judy.

At this stage of the game happy to indulge in as much A2A fighting as the Allies wish to partake in.

No P47s yet always makes me happy :D
