Three cheers for USS Drum. Very large number of subs deployed to find Fuso fail to do so. The Jap BB's turn around and head back toward Beazalbob. At least one of the Jap carrier groups heads toward Kendari. Not sure where the other one went.

Mindanao: Japs grinding down our troops on Mindanao. I started a pullout from Malaybalay which is a very strong position but you just can't feed that many mouths. I don't think we are going to be able to save the lads. JJ putting up a Hell of a fight over Ceram and Ambon and Flores

WHOA! Looks like the entire IJA 33rd Div landing at Zamboanga. Just a couple of Dutch guys and a weak Fliipino Regt and some aviation guys. Bad news for Zamboanga. Looks like the Japs are either really bad swimmers, or they just went in unprepped
