Respectfully, can we dispense with Fuchida's account(s) of the Battle of Midway?

Re the intro to Shattered Sword: Fuchida's Midway was "irretrievably flawed" and his misstatements were "willful distortions of the truth." His account of the battle was discounted in Japan >20 years ago, but somehow he has remained an authority on Midway in the West to this very day.

But not for PoE, wherever on the compass he is.
