WA Sp42

The krauts in their rush to fight the soviets forgot to withdraw their supply depots from England, pity the game doesn't allow to capture them.
The Allies retake England and start the reconstruction of its infrastructure, 2 factories this turn, the german TF are sent to the bottom of the sea to prevent another landing [:@].
Africa will probably be retaken next quarter.
The Pacific is left alone, for the moment.
Fleet in Hawai and Java are sent to sea, better to have them damage through op fire than sunk, I planned to do that the previous turn but I forgot [:@] darn, you can't play semihidden from your wife [:-][:D].

Germany Summer 1942

Thanks Christian. Good to hear from you.
Germany indeed needs some luck. I'm still kicking myself for having botched the UK invasion. I've now taken England or at least London in four recent games and every time I think I would have been better off not having done so. (And I'm not winning any of those games).

Germany consolidates while bombing Russian infrastructure. Greece is dispatched, as they were posing a threat to our rear.

Summer 1942:

Japan:

As India is quiet we shifted our focus to Australia. [:o] Most of it is occupied and Victoria will fall next turn. There is some defense but they are desesperately outnumbered. [8D]

Java has fall finaly. The Light Fleet is damaged and must have been sent to Victoria so it will be destroyed next turn anyway [:D]

The US navy is still hiding in California. Next turn Pearl Harbor will fall easily.

Our subs keep hunting Allied transports. 1 more down.

No SS this time, sorry.

SU42 RUS

GER retreated from Eastern Poland to defend Rumania (with 34 units, incl 10 panzers[X(]).
No way the RUS can take Rumania this turn but with 60+units within striking dist, its just a matter of time ...

However, time is running out for the Allies as axis' VP has reached 67 ... 11 short of AV ...

Wish us luck!!

I get the feeling you guys are not playing the right scenario.
AV is 83 in Uncommon Valor.
When I look back through your screenshots I do not see the SPs in China.

I'm afraid you're right MrQ, any consequences? I can't afford starting it all over again. We'll have to be more careful next time.

WA Su42

Too bad the swine fascists have reached the first threshold 67 points.
The allied high command has ordered drastic measures to stop the advance of the Axis powers, following the policy of Germany first the HC is pleased to report that Operation Wiland (here) has been a complete success, Northern Italy has been taken and properly reinforced, not to mention all three factories and their production lost.
Only thing is that Gibraltar heavy artillery was harder to destroy than expected, all CAGs had to be used against it, they first hit the infantry and later on the arty. leaving a militia and a AA unit to be dealt later. Also HC is optimistic and thinks Southern Italy might fall next quarter.

Turn sent to Tica, (never ever leave Italy undefended [;)])

I have sent you the save, NIS2007 is somehow not allowing outgoing mails, a bother. I mailed you the save online from the mail server.
Bty I got your mails Anthony and Philippe, have to say that the WA are still in a precarious position but doing my best to improve the situation [;)]. Tim has lots of Bombers in Rumania, and thanks he only has three fighters in range of N Italy otherwise my Cags and Cvs would be in trouble, pity I couldn't do anything to protect my TF off the France W. coast.

Fall 1942:

Japan:

We continue to bring Stability, Prosperity and Peace to each corner of Asia and the Pacific [:o]

Pearl Harbor, the whole of Australia but Tasmania, Chungking, last part of Philippines, New Guinea are liberated.

Ours subs still are sinking plenty of US transports.

Almost 1 year after our War of Liberation the US forces are still hiding from us. Their cowardice has no limits so we will fight them even if it means going to Washington [:@]

WA Fa42

The first of three have fallen, B. Mussolini has been reported to be captured and executed by partisans after Italy's surrender to the WA.
The liberation of Africa continues being the liberation of Cairo of great importance.
A swine japanase submarine was reported sunk in the Atlantic, they commited suicide rather than being taken prisioners, after their vessel has heavily damaged.
No losses on the WA side this turn [:)]
Only problem is the Japanese managed to reach the second threshold of 72.

Winter 1943:

Japan:

That submarine crew lost on the shores of Africa is remembered as Heroes of the Empire. Dark Father day for their families [:@] They still did sunk 3 transports past months before meeting their fate, not too bad [:'(]

As a revenge our Carriers did strike at a Transport Task Force in front of Cairo. Planes with the Rising Sun have been seen all over Egypt [:D]

Ceylon, Wake, Guam, Papua New Guinea, Tasmania and New Zealand are now part of our Emperor Realm.

WA Wi43

Well it was time to show the japs that their rule of the Pacific will soon come to an end, all six available wa cv launched a surprised attack on japanese flattops sinking two of them and damaging another one for the loss of one on our side. Also a LF and a HB were sent home for repairs, CINPAC is optimistic this will get the japs on the run back home , still there's a hard work ahead of us.

Meanwhile in Europe the rock went back to English hands (Gibraltar Español , this is my heart crying out loud), a lonely german cag stationed in the LC was pulverized, and unfortunately due to the low quantity of TF no operations could be taken in the Med, this will help the Soviets take positions [:@], specially don't like loosin Northern Italy to the reds still our beloved allies. Some RC in W. France and E. France were damaged, next turn the 8th AF will strike harder after deploying their Flying Fortresses in England [:)]

Here is a ss of the current forces on each side and Japans building program reported by our spy network. The japanese CV being built is the one damaged in the attack

Turn sent to Tim.

Edit Oooopss I forgot to erase the Chinese production, fixing this little lapsus not that it really matter since their factories are all dust.

Not a surprise attack at all. 3 of your carriers were on the West Coast and 3 more around Panama but I had 4 Elite Cags, 2 Fighters and 3 HVY Bombers in defense so the surprise is that you had so little casualties yourself.

Well you better hurry because Russia might well land in Japan first [;)]
