@Rick, I do not push blender, use the software you like most. But I want to suggest in any case try to look at some video tutorials (When I was not using Blender for a longer time, or if I wanted to tackle a new problem, video tutorials provided valuable hints and it took a lot less time than following a written tutorial). I personally like to use blender because its: 1. open source 2. the results others are achieving with blender [;)]
@Mraah, looking forward to your tasty map [:)]
Thanks Moto. No I wasn't thinking you were pushing Blender - I just like the price - and it looked like there are a LOT of internet resources for Blender - so that would be another plus. I might look at some video tutorials - never used one of those before so it's worth a try. What would be neat would be for you to follow through tutorial - but for Tut #2 - use Blender.
I've decided I just need to go slow and when a need arises, I'll use one or the other -
(Of course a tutorial by you on using Blander to mirror Stridors MS3D use in tutorial #2 would be nice - *g*).
I still haven;t even seen all of the maps that came with PC:K and with scene edit program - I can make quite a few adjustments.
Thanks Moto.
Rick
