now here is a ship in trouble, it is on fire, the sails are jammed and it is fouled, somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning

battle results, a slaughter, but to be honest, most of that damage came from the chase, not the battle, but a major battle and only 93 damage for me, is takable all night long

(those damage numbers are across the board, so say sail, crew, hull)

now think I should say something on what is going on in the background, I am controlling the seas, the enemy is leaving there ports, getting pounded and then go back to port, most times they are not staying long enough to repair much, but, they do get some crew back, my fleets, are staying in place, so while my damage is not as bad, my crews are getting smaller and smaller, which is why, I ended up sailing into port

maybe should say something about small actions, Frigates can break off from a fleet and battle Privateers, or enemy merchants, and since these things work best by them selfs, when a fleet sails past, it can cause damage to your routes and what nots (if you notice, I keep saying I want to kill off the enemy small ships, this is also part of it, long range)

can't tell from the reports what is going on, on the mainland, as France, I normally have a good idea of what is going on, I need some land on the mainland to get a better idea (of course, then, I need a much bigger Army) (my Army is for battle, not for conquest, if you can understand what I mean)

I have had to redo some of my Ecc, I need Horses, I got wood, so am cutting wood producion, and trying to grow horses, (I am also tradeing for Horses)

here I am building up my Farms in this province, I have pulled my "labor" out of production and added it to develment, to help speed up how long it will take to build the next level of Farms

nothing really major, but a pain in the butt for the French, which I can now try to Coup, which here the idea is not that I could take it over, but I may drive into someone elses hands (they like Sweden and Prussia)

I do have some tricks up my sleave, but the bugger won't let me pull them out

now this is why a boom can be nasty, not only did the ship go down, it caught 3 other ships on fire, even the one that sank her

(and just in case, until this campaign, I have only seen two ships go boom, it is not a common result)
