Turn 15
VC local force Battalion spotted near Rang Rang AF the 8th ARVN Airborne are sent to support the Inf Battalion based there,Below VC main force units attack and capture the CIDG camp at Dong Xoai,ARVN assets nearby from the 5th Inf Div are still rcovering from earlier operations but may have to be commited as there arnt enough forces available
Correction units in image are ARVN 5th Div not 22nd Div

Turn 16
Operation 1/65 takes place 1st RAR conducts a search and destroy mission south east of Bien Hoe no enemy encountred,another search and destroy mission conducted bt ARVN 48th Regiment and US 2/503 Airborne also detects no VC activity.
The VC 272nd Regiment has disapeared into the jungle leaving the ARVN 5th Div scratching their heads,At Polai Kleng US AF and Marine aircraft have bombarded the enemy now the ARVN Rangers 20th/22nd battalions will attack supported by the 2/4 Marines
The assault was a success the VC unit was destroyed

Turn 17 and 18 early end to turn 17 meens the ground assaults were carried out next turn
VC capture Kien Cuong the melt away into the jungle,ARVN Inf occupy the City.The US 3/7 Marines land at Qui Nhon and establish a presence.Below the assaults on Dong Son and Ap Than continue,Both the VC units at Dong Son and Ap Than where evaped

VC spotted West of DaNang in a vally near the village of Hoi Vuc,VC forced to retreat with 46% losses

US Marine units carry out a cordon and search operation in the area of Phong Le Bridge no enemy are spotted.
The Aussies of 1st Royal Australian Regiment conduct a search and destroy operation near Ho Nai no enemy are detected.
US 2nd Inf Bde establish a base camp at Long Binh Post.
VC activity is on the increase especialy in the Mekong delta

The 1st Bde of the 101st Aribourne arrives in Vietnam and lands at Cam Ranh
Operation Lien Ket4 starts US Marines and ARVN forces patrol from Da Nang to Hoi An no enemy are encountred
173rd Airbourne conduct a search and destroy around Phu My no enemy are encountred
1st RAR patrol NE of Bien Hoe AB but find no enemy
Below are operations at An Lao and Phu My in Binh Dinh province both are held by the VC

Game ends with a draw on game turn 1 the VC held 1906 objective points the US 1094,on game turn 21 the VC hold 1506 objective points the US 1494
A superb scenario fully enjoyed playing this one,i will definatly be playing the rest of Boonierats scenarios in the comming months[:D]
