How about early war? Although that would be. . .far different than SP:WaW. . .Eastern front maybe.

I would like to see a Spainish Civil war campaign. Sorry if this is already posted.

There already is one I think - at least several scenarios.

Hello all WW1-fans,

I'm very interested in to see your WW1 mod (at least some scens or campaign):p. It's great to see that others than me try to expand SPWAW's timeline into new directions:D. Hopefully my team will get SPCW mod ready during this year (our progress has been too slooow lately)...

PS. BTW, are you going to use years 1930-4 for 1914-18 in OOBs (just like we use 1941-45 for SPCW)? And how about new icons for tanks?

I wish good luck for your WW1!

Hi sami,

nice to hear some lifesigns concerning SPCW!:) How is it progressing?

Well..I´m just trying on a single WW1 scenario, no mod or campaign! I´ll probably include some stuff in the norway OOB86 if needed though.

If you remember I pointed you in your forum to a thread in Matrix forum that explains how the dates for SPWAW battles can be edited to non 1930-49 years!
You just need Freds WAWEditor and in "Tools/Edit Game Data" you need to enter desired value in the second data box for date. Press Retain button, save scenario, done!

7 / [65] for July 1965 for example. AFAIK the "19th century" Byte is hardcoded and can´t be changed to "18" to fit to your needs to portray civil war battles properly.

As it can be seen this is a "scenario only" solution and not quite appropriate for a complete OOB that needs correct availability dates for the civil war! :( Only changes in the mech.exe code (and OOB editor) can give you the needed solution for SPCW.

Well, I can describe progress with only 1 word:"slooow":( ...
Most unit icons are ready but scenarios/campaigns/some OOBs are undone yet.

OK, I just thought that even somebody here talked about "mod"...
I'm sorry about misunderstanding.

Yes I remember. But I just wanted to know (in that case that it will be "whole" mod) are you going to use just default years or that WAWEditor...

Hmm. I must ask that from Chlanda himself... Maybe he could make some year changes into that editor?

Thanks about make this clear:D.

No, you are not the only one.

I am working on a 1919 U.S. vs Soviet at Archangel. A bit different but it is somewhat historical in nature.

Hmm, that Archangel scen sounds interesting... How about Russian Civil War (1919-21 if I remember right) and Finnish Civil War (January-May 1918):p battle of Tampere for example? Both wars could include good stuff for scens/campaigns eh?

PS. Continuation War 1941-44 campaign is still undone:(... Who could do it?

I think I might start work on a Russian Civil War set of scenarios, guess WW1 is a fop currently.
