DOWN IN FLAMES
Removing the wingmen from the new DIF games has always been a point for debate. We’re looking at bringing wingmen back. If the idea proves popular, we’ll release Aces High and Guns Blazing Wingmen Expansion Card Packs.

My goal in designing these new wingmen rules is to return the fun of having wingmen to the game, without the pages (and pages) of complex rules needed to support them in the old game.

THUNDREBOLT-APACHE LEADER
We are now commissioning art and should have the game ready to pre-order in a week or two. The idea is to revise the original game as little as possible. We will be adding weapons that have entered service since the original game was produced, such as the AH-64D Longbow Apache and A-10C Thunderbolt. We’ll also be adding enough Pilot cards so pilots can promote through all 6 skill levels.

As for pre orders there only good if you live in the USA. The cost of Customs makes them way to expensive compared to how much you can pick them up once the shops in the UK stock them.

Though I would pre order WW1 leader...OK I will shut up now.

VASSAL NOT WORKING
One Server runs the Vassal games and password generation. Right now, that server is being moved and isn't working. Until the new server is working, Vassal games and passwords are not working.

We been receiving reports that some international pre-orders have not arrived. We checked with our international shipper and all Hornets were delivered to individual countries between the 16th and 20th of December. Everyone’s mail system is slow this time of year. Sorry about the delay.

I just heard from a person Germany. Their Hornet just arrived. It had been held in customs for a week.

ONWARD TO 2011 FOR DVG!

2010 was a great year for DVG. We released 4 games (Guns Blazing, Phantom Leader, Frontline, and Hornet Leader). We're hoping to release at least 4 more of our designs in 2010, plus a couple games from other designers who we are very fortunate to be working with.

We are also making 2011 a big marketing push for DVG. We have talked with players, distributors, and retailers, and found that our games are well liked and sell well in those stores that carry our games. But, we need to expand awareness to get our games on the shelves of the many (many) stores who have never heard of us. We’ll be announcing plans to ask for your help in reaching those new stores.
