It doesn't matter from where you are descended because within 50 years our respective countries will not be ours. Massive immigration, and Third World birthrates will ensure that white Caucasians will be an endangered species.

Ok, I'm gonna have to say BULL on this one. The Prime Minister will be British and the President will be American, no matter the gender or skin color. The way you say it sounds like the Brits and Yanks are going to be breeded out of existence. [8|]

White Caucasians? Is there another type? [:D]

And no I feel no need to race over the border in my kilt waving my Claymore whilst exposing my dangly bits... thats all in the past[:D]

Ladies From Hell!!!

My Grandfather used to tell some great stories about when he signed up for the Royal Artillery but was assigned as a bugler/drummer to a Highlander Regiment during WW1. I was too young to remember the stories, but he was interviewed for Somme by Lyn MacDonald. He was very proud to have served in that Regiment, but as he said: "he would just as soon be fighting the Germans in the trenches, than his comrades of the 4th Highland Light Infantry in the only slightly less beligerent territory contained within the walls of Maryhill Barracks in Glasgow". [:D]

He also talked jokingly about the kilt (he was Cockney born and bred [:D]), although he said that he grew to like it and how they would stain their knees with tea or permanganate of potash from a chemist so the girls wouldn't laugh at their white knees and see that they were rookies. [:D]

He had boarded the train of reinforcements headed to France after the Battle of Loos. These reinforcements would join what was to be the Battle of Somme. My Grandfather was only 17 (he had lied and said he was 19), and his mother had sent a letter to tell on him and he was yanked off of the train after it had started to move and came to a halt.

Sorry a bit of OT rambling there, but that's my contribution on the Scottish-English part. [:D]

Bill Turner, his interview is on pgs 181-184 and there's a photo of him and his girlfriend on p. 150 right before he was to leave for France. My scanner is down (again) and I am longing to get that pic from my book to my PC!
