Yesterday was Sunday.....
Drove off another rifle squad to the north and watched as the remainder of the Snow Artists became toast.
Other than that nothing much out there except shivering grunts. And, with the appearance of more German Armor the decibel level of the shivering just climbed significantly.

Slow turn here also, scared off some foot soldiers, oh yeah pulled the old bananna in the tailpipe gag on one of your Jumbo's he went boom. Still waiting for some tow truck to clear away breakdowns. Smell some diesel fuel from the west so I think your starting to approach me with armor, just a hunch.

The suspense is killing me..
Caught an Ammo Carrier with a lucky clip from a bunch of Garands. Hope you weren't counting on that ammo?
This is really a nasty attack scenario. There must be one hell of lot of tanks coming my way. Because with the restricted passages that you are having to put up with there has got to be some compensation for that.
We traded a few rounds between some recon units. I lost a couple of 30 cal Jeeps and you lost a recon unit and a Pzfaust 100.
And, some close in fighting in the center on the last road before you turn into Bastogne. A very gung ho Mobile AA came charging in to finish off an extremely stressed out infantry squad and chased them into the smoke. Only to be finished off by the .50 Cal HMG on the squad's halftrack.
Tried to return your banana there in the center but a very anal rifle squad intercepted the banana (losing a squad member) and finishing off the Engineer squad that has been hassling your Panthers for the last 10 to 12 hexes.

Ya mean the DooHicky's with wings?
Yeah, I traded some fly boys a couple of cases of wine from one of the cellars here in Bastogne for a couple of Sorties. They said they was gittin real bored down in Paris with nuttin to do but party with Can Can Gurlz.
Turn 15 was when I received scheduled re-inforcements. Which included ......flying Doohicky thingy's Yay Zoomies!!
My ISP seems to have survived for more than 1 hour and so I have had the ability to play a little more tonight. Might get it back so you have it in the AM.

Caltrans would be having a fit....
There is so much broken down stuff out there that it is taking on Traffic Jam proportions.
Caught a Hummel trying to sneak in the North. And, some more squads trying to drive my platoon off the ridge bordering the large field.
Have fun in the morning..

Yawn......
On my end it is becoming more a Logistical Nightmare. I tried to tell McAuliffe to call ahead. But NOOOO!! Now we find out that they have booked a Polish Shriners Convention in the only hotel with Beer!
I am soooo tired of Wine. Grrrr!!
One of my Drunken Track Drivers was trying to play Chicken with those Panthers on the Outskirts of town and caught a round in full view of General McAuliffe.
That was about the only action this turn. I did get some more out of nowhere shots off at some of your stragglers.

Your either getting desperate or just ballsy, letting your armor roam about like that is suicide knowing what's on those roads. Found a couple 57mm AT, they had wished I didn't find them. Some armor is digging themselves free from the deep snow and rolling your way. Your fly boys are getting on my nerves, I need to shot one down so I can have a campfire and tell war stories. The fun will begin in a few short more turns from now.

Not Either of those....
If you caught those tanks where I think you did. They were just some planned reinforcements that are moving to their positions. And, you happened to break out of the Wilderness right in the middle of the convoy. Such and Opportunity!:D
I am surprised that I have not lost more A/C by this point. As I don't seem to be able to change their Entry and Exit Points and they continue to fly striaght across the map.
I haven't had as far to go to get to my positions but only about half of my reinforcements came on to the map reasonably close to where I wanted them.
I will get the turn back to you later today. ISP is down at home again.

Made the best of a gamble..
I took a wrong turn with a straggler and ended up behind a Jgpz there in the south. The squad bailed and took an 88 round with only a flinch. Then after ralleying they threw a couple of grenades/statchel charges and poof no more jgpz. But, now they are stuck in the middle of the road.
There is armor everywhere and smoke drifting in huge clouds through the trees and muddy bloody snow. Those 57mm crews were newbies and had not had a chance to dig in yet.
Somewhere out there is a giant pack of Tigers just working their way to the open so they can punch through towards the goal. I know it, I can feel it in my bones.....brrrrr!!

Nothing real exciting to report. Got ambushed by 3 Shermans lost armor, those Tiger's you here are still a long ways off as their fuel economy sucks plus the blocked roads are taking forever to make it to town. Once I have control of most of my armor again, this will make for an interesting engagemnet.

I'm not sure this is the way it happened..
Finally your artillery begins to speak. The east end of Bastogne just disappeared in cloud of smoke.
Finished off that Panther G that was left in the gate of Bastogne.
Have ordered my men to hunker down as the sound of artillery batteries is heard over the hill.
When do I get to say, "Nuts"?

Double NUTS!
You mave have wanted to reserve that word NUTS for a later turn. Ok the good news is the road blocks are starting to clear the bad news(for you) is that what used to be in that traffic jam is headed your way, and they all have very thick skirts and large bore holes( and no I'm not talking about overweight Swedish pipe players either). Got a bazooka team I've been searching for, a jeep and M20 sneeking around in the back woods. I just realized I have a peice of equipment I didn't know I had, Rockets now I just need to figure out how to use them as they make for a great fireworks display especially when striking thing that go BOOM.

I have a feeling that Bastogne is going to look like a parking lot when we get through with it.
Turn will be back in a little while.

Making slow progress it seems
I can see some of your main forces or what looks like them coming into view now.
Finished off that lone Panther that was working it's way to the north. But, other than that not much else going on but frantic digging.
Hope there aren't any Napalm Rockets in those rocket launchers. Hmmmmm... I take that back it is sooooo cold out here that if we get some napalm to light up some of these flea bag French Hotels? Maybe we would be doing humnity a favor.
Back to you
