I really, really needed it. Inspite of my strong Catholic background,
I am not of course immune to things that affect my all-too sensitive heart.

So, any official news yet? Are we getting a new beta soon with some of the issues mentioned addressed (what I am hoping for)?

I think first will come the official one and only after that a new beta or official one.

If that was the case - then why the long wait? If everything is A-OK with the current beta (which it isn´t!!), they could have declared it final (takes 5 minutes, I guess) weeks ago.

So I am really hoping that they are working on a new beta with more stuff fixed/balanced.

so far the 1.5.0.6 is more stable on my machine. Still got memory leaks on 1400 maps from time to time.

I'm hoping for that as well but no patch will ever be perfect so it's a tradeoff in the end.

Whats a memory leak?

I have autosaves every day which dont work, I have uploaded the picture to the tech forum.

a program consuming incresing amounts of memory without actual work to account for it....the memory leaks

whats driving me mad sometimes, is when i got the out of memory notification during saving.[:-]

The savegame is then corrupted.[X(]

thats what I have quite often, but then Im dumped back to the main menu

Instead of being able to retry from ingame

out of memory sometimes means I have to reboot ROTS

Never got out of memory issue, maybe im lucky?

But I cant wait for next update, not beta, this bugs in 501 are making me nervous.
