Turn 13, 9/11/1941

Soviet attack bonus is annoying. What happened to Germans holding at all cost?

"Hold at all cost! ... actually nevermind, retreat as soon as the odds are even."

Or put another way, when did the Germans in 1941 ever fall back from a bridgehead?

But I'm not a fan of the 1-1 rule either, for whatever it is worth.

Yeah, I think the Germans need to be given more credit on how well they withstood Soviet counter-attacks for most of the war, even heavily out numbered.  Wish the game allowed German units to be given a status order of - 'Stand or Die'. [:'(]

I like that the Soviets have the ability to mount some decent counter-attacks.  This was happening a lot more than people realize in 41.

It Looks like there's not too much in front of Moscow, 4 more turns of clear weather and some snow turns after mud should give you a nice chance to bag it.

Turn 26, 12/11/1941, Blizzard

Soviet winter offensive begins. We are pushed back in many places but reoccupy almost all of them. Only in the Crimea is there a real breakthrough - forces will be sent here to delay the advance.

Your faith in your Rumanian allies at the Crimea entrance is touching but, I fear, you might need something more Germanic there ASAP :). Solid 1941 campaign, let's pray for Spring :)

Turn 28, 12/25/1941, Blizzard

We are ever so slowly being pushed back all along the front, perhaps less so in the north. The "breakthrough" out of the Crimea has mostly stalled.

Can you please post the the loses?  Curious how 41 will end for loses and OOB.  Are you keep safe all you Panzer div in warm cities and urban locations?  As I'm sure you know they will be your strike force in 42.

Thanks.
