This is an interesting AAR from the standpoint that this is the first AAR showing collapse of the Reich. Interesting!

This is also how all 1.04 games would have ended if they went that far. In my game vs. Tarhunnas, who is a very good player, the Red Army was going to reach Berlin in 1944. And this was all 1:1 rule, not to mention morale, all of which is a Wehrmacht-killer.

Keep going though.

The rebuilds ought to be candidates for immediate disbandment - they will not come back again after that.

as far as i can tell i cant even disband them untill they are unfrozen, at which point they are prettymuch full up.

In the meantime everyone else on the front depletes so I have to merge 10 divs to get 1 almost full strength that _might_ be able to hold for a turn 8)

You should be able to at least disband the SUs off the bat.

What happened?! Has Berlin fallen? This has been my favorite AAR because it covers the little written about end of the war. You must post again!

+1

the number of AAR's that extend past 1942 is a rarity at the moment

OK

Turn 155

I extract a panzer division from II sspzc from an encirclement and merge most of my infantry divisions to try to get a few combat capable units.

The impending doom of the pockets in Austria is going to coompletely sap any replacements that might go into the frontline .......

Picture is worth a thousand words !!!

Budapest falls before Valetine's Day 1944 - my guess.
Destroy the enemy's army, then you can do what you will with his land, cattle and women.
