Challenge anyone in my Mig-3U with 2x20mm [;)]

Mig-3 was a better design than the Bf-109 .. people will go [&:]

carried too little guns (needed 2 or 3 20mm), and too much fuel
and they used wood and steel instead of pure duralumin making it heavy

a lightweight Mig 3 would fly about 420-430 mph.. and that's in 1941 [8D]

isn't there still a pretty active online community for EAW? modded to improve the graphics and such. That game always amazed me. By sacrificing fancy graphics, it could represent hundreds of planes in the air. Bomber streams galore.

This topic caused me to go get my IL-2 patched up to .011m, pull out the old X52 and start tooling around...problem with my x-52 is the rudder control, my wrist keeps me yawing to unwittingly to the left..

When you fly the IL2 low and slow and weave, the AI planes can't handle it and constantly overshoot - it's hell funny.
Plus the IL2 is armoured like tank

Well, I am a vet on weird AI behaviour up until v 4.08m, and from what I read here and searching for comments on
4.11m on the net, the improvements are astonishing. And thats what counts.

Can´t wait, completely forgot how tedious the upgrade process is....4.08m, 4.09m, 4.09m texture pack, 4.10m, 4.11 [>:]

(and yes, I found the superpatch, but I don´t trust it completely)

Anybody knows if Lowengrin brought his DCG up to 4.11 standard?

That's a beta version of DCG for 4.11. I only just discovered it myself though, so no idea how stable it might be. Probably is.

this is a video made on the WBOP Zekes vs. Wildcats server when they hosted the weekly Bomber night. Just before I started frequenting them, but they did this sort of thing every friday night.
