My troops are regrouping for the invasion of Sumatra & Java, so very little action.

British units are trying to stall the Japanese advances.

A few more days to the action. In the Solomons it is relatively quiet now...

Mersing costed my two ships, but now at least I don't have to pull back units from Singapore to intercept the British partizans

By blocking the railroad the British troops have stalled the Japanese offensive quite a bit. A good tactic to remember for my next game as the Allies

Tomorrow my troops will land at Oosthaven and start their march to Palembang

My cap really sucked today and was unable to shoot down many of the British torpedo bombers despite good odds. Anyway we have a foothold on Sumatra.

Pfff. Vildebeest III bombers scored several hits on my battleships This could have ended very bad.
Fortunately on the CL Jintsu was sunk and the others are still battle ready.

As a Japanese player I hate the existence of Port Moresby. Difficult to take and even harder to defend...

I shock-attacked at Palembang and it was aweful. Any tips for keeping damage to oil fields and refineries? I'm expecting that this is going to cost me...

This was bound to happen at some point. Unfortunately my scouts didn't pick up the US carriers. Otherwise I would have moved some more Zero's and Betty's to Rabaul.
