I'm employed....but it's all a matter of dedication. Well, dedication and no children/wifes around...just a GF...but she can be handled if you master your time if the right way[:D]

I thought I was slow, but I guess I'm actually fast.

I usually spend 1/2 hour on a turn; sometimes a bit more if it's early in the war. I will intersperse that with every few turns really checking subs, convoys, production, pilot training, etc; this takes a couple hours. But that "housekeeping" doesn't need to happen much more than every few days.

If you are spending more than a couple hours per turn, consistently, that seems a bit much. You don't have to check EVERYTHING, and you eventually need to cut it down if you have any realistic chance of finishing a game in your lifetime. After all, 1000 turns x 2 hours per turn = 2,000 hours.....wow.

Me and Rader managed to do more than 950 turns in nearly 10 months and a half
