I play Combat Mission for my tactical fix, and some HPS Squad Battle series. I was looking for a game with a more strategic level of play and comments on the CM forum lead me to check out reviews of UV, followed by regular visits to the website here. I think the greatest influence to buy was the comments from the others on this website. I have the game a few weeks now and love it.

PacWar made me do it!

After playing PacWar for years, I went looking for any updated PWHints files on the web. I stumbled onto the Matrix edition of PacWar while searching. At the time, there were plans to re-do PacWar. Many months later, I came back looking for progress on the new PacWar and found lots of references to UV. I purchased it several weeks ago, and now I'm hooked!

Matrix, the free update of PacWar was a stroke of genius! It has sold one copy of UV to me, and will have a copy of WitP at my doorstep ASAP! I'm sure many of the other UV customers were hooked the same way! :D
