There has been a clampdown on information from the Japanese leadership. However a new series of war posters have been published... they look something like this:

Japanese Army GHQ-

we have determined that too much information was being passed via the screenshots to the AMERICAN enemy, so now these screen shots will still be shown but only after screening them with a fine tooth comb and removing damaging information which can be used against us. The Chinese are a tad bit tougher than we expected but the end will still be the same and victory will be ours, no matter if the US enters the war or not.

The White-Finnish bourgeois army has collapsed! The Finnish Red Army has liberated Helsinki! The Finnish Peoples Democratic Republic has sent its representatives to Moscow in order to undresign a friendship an alliance treaty with the Soviet government.

03/Nov/1938

-Location: A B-18 Flying off Manila

-Pilot: Those daily patrol flights are becoming tedious, we never find nothing,do our commanders really believe the Japanese are coming?
-Co Pilot: From what I know, some PBY´s are coming to relieve us, we will fly less tedious missions, like bombardment runs against Formosa
-Pilot: What are those grey spots at 10hours?
-Co pilot: Maybe more cargo ships?
-Pilot: Not sure, let us get closer....
A few minutes later
-Pilot: I cannot believe, it seems the Imperial Navy is paying us a visit
-Co Pilot: I´ve already counted at least three battleships and lots of destroyers
-Pilot: Where are the carriers?
-Co pilot: I can´t see any....anyway, send a radio message to our base, we must be prepared...

-What you happen with the Japanese fleet? Will Japan attempt a Pearl Harbour on Manila? Will the USA launch a preemptive attack on the Japanese fleet? Saty tuned....[:)]

While the Americans and Japanese play hide and seek in the Pacific, the Germans are once again up to something...

Japanese Army GHQ- our glorious naval forces have began the encirclement of the Philippines, we shall give the Americans a chance to agree to a non-aggression agreement or face complete and total war, if this means that we have to withdraw all forces out of china in order to face this new enemy we shall. Our Naval forces also have a surprise waiting for the American carriers if they fail to agree to such, that will see their entire pacific fleet in ruin and Hawaii Japanese.

Washington, 13/Jan/1939

Pres. Roosevelt: It seems the Japanese fell in our trap...

Sec. Hull: It´s likely, however, that we will lose the Phillipines, enemy vessels intedicted almost all supply transfer between the isles

Admiral King: We also lost some equipment and supply in the route to Pearl Harbour and Guam, the Pacific is crawling with enemy submarines

Pres. Roosevelt: Does the Japanese have enough fuel to sustain these large scale fleet operations?

Admiral King: We think they cannot employ the Combined Fleet in sustained operations for more than three months....but who knows. And our submarine force was ordered to start the blockade of Japanese Islands.

Pres. Roosevelt: We hope so, the Japanese economy is too weak to sustain both a land war in China and a naval war in the Pacific.

Sec Hull: This is true, but we are somewhat worried about the poor performance of our air forces in the Phillipines.

Admiral King: Our records point to the fact that the naval bombardment started at 5:30h, there were no time to arm our dive bombers

Sec. Hull: The enemy forced was located the day before. Why it wasn´t attacked?

Admiral King: It seems the air base commander received an order to avoid any provocation, someone in Washington wanted us to be attacked first...

Pres. Roosevelt: And it worked, the public opinion is now supporting our alliance with China.

Sec Hull: And the Japanese advance on China stalled for this month. Chinese losses are also well below replacement rates for the first time since the war begun.

Pres. Roosevelt: But Japanese losses also decreased a lot. Tell me, Admiral, what is that plan Orange you are suggesting?

Japanese Army GHQ-
LOL....the Americans think that the Philippines are our objective. The only way to end this, is to strike straight for Hawaii and use it as a jumping off position for an attack against the mainland of America. We are no longer worried about the US and so do not mind if they know our plans, as shortly their entire pacific fleet will be at the bottom of the ocean or maybe we just like toying with a paper tiger.

One of our greatest admirals, Yamamoto did warn us that we have awakened a sleeping giant, but war was inevitable, so win or lose we shall see. Several Army Generals did voice disagreement with our attack on the US forces in the Philippines, stating that they are nervous about fighting a 2 front war, but the Naval Command over-road their objections

USN intelligence HQ

Analyst 1-Strange...we were able to decode a secret massage from IJA headquartes stating that Hawaii is their main objective, however, the Combined fleet is in the Philippines area, including their fleet carriers

Analyst 2-And why in hell the Army headquarters are sending orders for naval invasions, from what I know, the Army and the Navy would gladly fight one each order instead of us

Analyst 1-Is the Navy fooling the Army?

Analyst 2-Or both are fooling us? However, they seem not to be cheating on the whole Hawaii thing. We just received info regrading the sinking of 8(!) Japanese submarines near Pearl Harbour. All units are in full alert. The Japanese will have a hot welcome if they visit us!

Japanese Naval GHQ

Our glorious forces begun preparation for naval landings of Alaska,( the enemy thought Hawaii was our target) LOL..... all preparations have almost been completed. We have lost contact with several of our sub groups off the coast of Hawaii, but cannot confirm it was lost due to enemy activity. The home islands are preparing their defenses for a fortified Japan scenario as well as the much anticipated death blow to Chinese forces.

Our Intelligence forces have deducted that America cannot fight long on what measly naval forces she can bring too bear against us. They are no match for our much updated naval fighters as well as our very updated air force. Air force command has assured us that if they meet US forces in the sky, that the sky will be filled with US Planes falling from the sky in such numbers that the Emperor himself will shed a tear of sadness.

Also in the News from Europe (but i didn´t get time to make a screenpost).

Hungaria Joins the Axis cause, and signs an affiliation and alliance treaty with Germany. Japan and Germany finalize an Alliance, and 12 submarines sunk in the coastal waters off Oslo by the Kriegsmarine. Unfortunately, a pocket battleship was lost too...

Washington 13-Dec-1938

Pres. Roosevelt: I hope you have good news to me

Sec. Hull: Not exactly, the IJN blocked the Phillipines, but no landing attempt was made. Our aircraft were able to sink a Japanese destroyer, but our losses are heavy too, some surviving planes were moved to China.

Pres. Roosevelt: What about Hawaii?

Sec. Hull: The sea route to Hawaii is fully opened, more 5 japanese subs were sunk in the last days, but we also lost a submarine and a destroyer

Pres. Roosevelt: Do you hava data on fuel shortages for Japan?

Sec. Hull: Our intel told us that fuel for civilian use is already retioned in Japan and their Navy cannot sustain this pace for two more months

Pres. Roosevelt: The intel might be wrong of course, the Japanese seem to be creating confusion among the poor guys with lots of false messages

Sec. Hull: The last one was about an invasion on Alaska, I really want them to invade Alaska, there isn´t a single production point there, and the attempt to supply a garrison there will cost them some transport ships, we actually should invite them to Alaska...

Pres, Roosevelt: Our Canadian friends wouldn´t welcome such an event...

Sec. Hull: I´m not sure if they are exactly our friends, but having a few Japanese at their borders would surely give them second thoughts....

Pres. Roosevelt: What about China?

Sec. Hull: The Japanese advance has stalled, and they got a bloody nose this turn.

Pres. Roosevelt: As Robb Stark says, bloody noses don´t win wars

Sec. Hull: Who is Robb Stark??????

Imperial Japanese GHQ - 1938

.......news flash...... heavy losses have been taken on the northern front, while our advance in the south is steaming ahead full speed. Army GHQ has ordered her commanders on the northern front to suspend offensive operations for the time being and go onto the defensive. Our naval and air forces are strangling the American forces in the Philippines and our ground forces should be able to walk over their starving forces in a matter of weeks. ......news flash...... naval losses off the coast of Hawaii are heavy, with the loss of several subs. The armament minister has been sacked, and production of newer versions of our glorious sub forces has commenced.

Our intelligence tells us that the Germans are preparing some sort of surprise for the French/British but we cannot get any further information at this time. Our spies in the US also advised that America has not fully reached production capacity yet, so it may appear that our glorious admiral Yamamoto may have been wrong about a sleeping giant...

one other thing, we know of Robb Stark, but this is not some " Game of Thrown s" :)
