Location KB - last seen at Truk (a few days ago)

The lack of carrier support is slowing down progress for Chris considerably. If he doesn't speed up he'll have a lot of problems just securing Palembang and Singapore.

I'm not going for a full fortress Palembang but I do have 150 AV there now so a division is required.

So far you seem to be doing well -- but if the above were the actual date it would would set a record![;)]
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

I like where you are in the DEI right now. You are buying very good time. Light cruiser sortie off the coast of Sarawak perhaps?

Hey Zulu, our game is still going strong. I do not have the energy to keep the AAR up to date. I'm not abandoning it but for now I'll concentrate on playing..

End of May - 1942

Finding the energy again to keep an AAR, I've decided to give you an update on the current situation.
Reminder: DBB-C , Stacking limits, Modified scenario 2

Northern China

Quixote showed me how important it is for the Chinese to get to decent terrain and fight on terms acceptable for the Chinese.
The terrain in the North is not great for defense but it has some river lines and more importantly, the Japanese are from the supply base, in range of Chinese bombers and have extended flanks!

After 5 months of fighting, this is the situation (I am facing between 3-4 divisions and a couple of brigades. Chris is not committed enough to push me out of the North.

Central and Southern China

I've attached a screenshot from tracker showing the state of the Chinese army... What a difference from my last game!

Not an IJN ship to be seen, odd here at this date. (ref: post 60 map)

Most of his carriers are in the South Pacific, I'll get to those areas later! It doesn't look like Chris wants to expand much further using his navy..

Singapore has just fallen. Chris can now use the five infantry divisions and two tank regiments "somewhere else".
I doubt that he'll expand further in the Pacific so most likely he will reinforce Burma...

Kudos for holding Australia. That was just to easy and fast for Paul. I'm only grateful he did not continue and take it all. After destroying two plus divisions in two days in the western reaches of the desert, he sat. Same with Darwin, he stopped at Daly Waters. I had to fight for the Fiji's as well. I like the New Hebrides position your in. He can't occupy all of the Solomons and I'm surprised but on my map many of the islands are still green.

Chris did not push hard enough if you ask me. Granted, DBB-C slows you down a bit. He has commented a few times that his logistics were not keeping up with his ambitions.
I've got the feeling he is satisfied with his expansion and will start to dig in hard. That means I need to start and push him more.. More on that later.

Looks like you're doing really well. Chinese defenses seem solid.

Let me know if you have any tips on DBB Scen 30 for the Allies. Not sure if there are any differences for Allied OOB or if the Japanese are just stronger.

As far as I can tell there are no differences for the allies. The Japanese get about the same as they do in the stock scenario 2 (Be aware that initial pilot quality in DaIronBabes for the Japanese is the same as stock scenario 1 (35/35))

I like this scenario in combination with stacking limits. The Japanese get more toys and are a bit more competitive but the actual campaign is slowed down by the logistic and support restrictions of the DBB Mod..

I would say you are in a position to "kick back" in a winged back chair, pull up the ottoman, light the fire, and enjoy a Grand Marnier (sp?). Planning, behind the lines as it were, should be relaxed.[8D]
