For those interested in a good story with a historical basis let me suggest "The Wipers Times"
(about publishing a newspaper while in the trenches of WWI). I give the BBC a hearty "OUTSTANDING" for this 90 minute TV movie. Maybe not a actual war movie but pretty close to true and full of the blackest of (hilarious) humor. I wish I could add this one to my collection but right now it is only published in Region 2 DVD and I'm mostly stuck with Hollywood's drivel here in the U.S. One can watch it on the internet but I fear the all the "extras" that may hitch a ride if I download it.
