Well done to Holland and others...sadly our hopes of up to 7 medals is looking a tad er...optimistic shall we say? [:(]

Ho hum....there's always four years time [:)].
No! It is two years time and Britannia will rule the Olympic Games. [:)]

It was absolutely criminal, scandalous, that they disqualified our speed skater. How dare they? That was just a shabby bolshevik piece of chicanery.... I mean didn't they know she was British? I repeat..how dare they!!! [:@]

I am watching a reprise of today's women curling match. Fun and relaxing but I wish I could, for once, see it live.

USA!  USA!  USA!

I'm having a great time watching these games as time allows.  The Norwegians are counting coup, but there are a lot of off-the-wall things that are making these a good series.  And the Jamaican Bob sled team is back!

I want to see Pole dancing made a Olympic summer game. Takes extreme athletics to pull off what some can do. Here is a good example (and yes it is fully clothed and safe for work and kids):

Worth it IMO. I tripped over that on another forum someone posted. The stuff she does made my body hurt just watching.

So young Elizabeth what did you do today?

Well I chose to lie down, head first, and with my face just milimetres from the ground, on a giant tea tray. I then propelled myself down a twisty-turny ice-covered hill with ice-covered walls at 80mph, which meant my body was battling with forces of up to 5G. But I'm not as mad as a balloon you know [;)]

Ive had about all I can stand of figure skating.

10 minutes of some downhill or a small portion of snowboarding and the rest figure skating.

Show hockey or curling or biathlon. Anything. And I just don't care to watch womens sports that much. The times are slower the tricks are smaller and the level of performance down. Luge sure. Snowboarding and freestyle? No.

The 2014 Womens er... Winter Olympics are a bore.

I am watching curling at the moment. China versus Sweden and these ladies are anything but a bore to watch.

Fun stuff actually. [:)]

Id be interested in that. NBC here has not shown anything of the sort. I do enjoy some women events, just not many.

Id love to see some ladies hockey, but alas figure skating seems to be about the only thing they show.

Typical - we are leading South Korea 7-4, then I tune in to watch, and two ends later we are losing 8-7. I think I'll go do something else....

I understand your frustration. Figure skating can be fun to watch for 10 minutes or so.

Here we have two free channels, with some commercial, that show the Olympic games live so I have a option to select what I want to watch. In addition there is also a pay channel that shows one more sport from the events.

6-6 at the moment but it is the last end and China has the last stone. So I suspect a small miracle is needed in order for Sweden to win.
