I'll throw a couple of names into the hat.

1) Yava. Piotr was my first PBEM opponent back in the distant days of the original WitP. I've lost contact with him despite trying to send several emails [:(]

2)Gladiatt. Despite being French, he was a top bloke. Sadly he had a wife who was seriously ill and after they moved I've not been able to contact him again.

Yeah, haven't even seen The Elf lurking in a long time. Based upon what JWE has written, it seems they are at least still in communication. Still, it would be very nice to see his login appear again ...
Just got a PM from him, so he moseys through every now and again.

JWE
Nice to know. Has he been beached yet?

There's a name from the past - he had a cool avatar too if I recall. Sadly he stopped posting one day and never came back [:(]

Sounds good Geoff. DBBC is the way to go as I really like Babes lite. Be awhile yet...month or so to clear the decks.[8D]

No problem, I'm not ready either.

By the way, do you know what your name means? "Sauer" is related to the English 'sour' but can, among other things, mean acid. 'Acker' is related to the english agri as in agriculture. So it looks like your name derives from farming something 'sour' or acid. 'Sauer' is also probably related to the word 'sorrel' as in wood sorrel, so it could possibly refer to someone who grew wood sorrel for a living. This is pretty thin, though. The first time I saw your name I thought "citrus grower". That may be as plausible as anything else.

I should go further. 'Sauer' can (as in sauerkraut) refer to vinegar, meaning your name could be derived from an antecedant who grew grapes, a winemaker.

Uh oh, I can see a label, 'mosel (moselle) de Ron' as opposed to 'Moselle de Rhone".

Makes no sense, I'm (trying to be funny) referring to two separate rivers, the Rhone and the Mosel.

USSHenrico was my former game PBEM partner. He disappeared without a trace about two years ago now. I've emailed him a number of times, but haven't seen him around the forum or replying to my emails. [:(]
