Also as to sea transport doesnt work into leningrad but since its still in supply/functioning port I can build units there still.

Skipped T21 as not much happened- So heres North T22 Pelton resumes the attack preparing to try and storm Novorissk and Tzhok and Kallin basically before Blizzard. Making good progress against me in the Tozhak(sp) and Kallinin sector.

Do you still have sevastapol?
RE: Chaos(SHC) vs Pelton- T15 Soviet pics
No I gave up most the Crimea. No industry little manpower...wasnt worth wasting an army on in the early game.
RE: Chaos(SHC) vs Pelton- T15 Soviet pics
Yeah I suppose the city isn't of much value in itself. It is a level 5 fort on sevastapol though, plus defending units can just rout away if they are defeated, so it I think it may be worth a div or 2 in the long run.

very impressive numbers by the look of it
RE: Chaos(SHC) vs Pelton- T15 Soviet pics
Will be very interesting to see what happens in 42, if Pelton tries again on Lgrad or gives up and goes drives straight for Baku. Looks like it would be difficult for him to pull of both concurrently.

When we get to blizzard I have a screen shot of current guards divisions/corps.
RE: Chaos(SHC) vs Pelton- T15 Soviet pics
T24- Leningrad sector his assault towards Nororissk makes progress but with blizzard next turn he fails to take the city. Also i get a successful counterattack in the leningrad sector.
To the SE on this picture you can see he encircles Tazhok but with blizzard next turn I dont feel he can take the city and air re-supply it and prep to counterattack in blizzard if he doesnt fall back.

T24 North Center- You can see on the north side the fighting around Kallinin, and in the Moscow area he attacks several times but so do I with several successes.

T24 South Center- I launch a counterattack pretty much all down the line- most successful offensive turn over all so far in the game Combined 21 Total wins for the Soviet army on the attack in this last week of November.

RE: Chaos(SHC) vs Pelton- T15 Soviet pics
T24 Rostov- More successful attacks this turn- I concentrate on getting cav units into the assaults that might make guards...is kinda a pain to generate guards as you have to track individual units and when u have 400+ if not 500+ divisions and BDEs even with your commanders report is a pain but necessary if you want to generate guards cav corps by blizzard.
Also 2 guards divisions with others push the Romanians out of the city vorshilovagrad(sp) in bloody fighting.

RE: Chaos(SHC) vs Pelton- T15 Soviet pics
We are actually up to January now and his retrograde has prevented me from doing much damage to him as I can only really use hasty attacks most the time which with Soviet Generals often fail. However I have a ton of Manpower and Im producing more and more armaments each turn so once I have enough rifles my army will fill out very quickly as I have half a million men currently just waiting on weapons lol.
RE: Chaos(SHC) vs Pelton- T15 Soviet pics
And on to the frontline T25 will prolly be the last one for awhile as I want to get some turns ahead before revealing much more. First turn of blizzard I get a couple very critical hexes by the hills which will allow me to leverage out his entire line over the next couple turns and force him to deploy a panzer corps to solidify the lines, key thing is its yet another hex of bad terrain he will need to take that will be fortified by spring.
Take back some hexes in front of moscow but nothing major, limited winter really isnt that impressive at weakening the Germans more like the Germans decide its cold and dont want to attack anymore. His combat values did decrease enough to actually allow me some attacks but not substantially except in the south where supply length, non-entrenchment, and open terrain show a pretty decided lowering of German CV...however a German division standing in the open on steppes still has more combat rating than the Average Soviet division during the first winter lol. So between weather penalties on the attacker and German CV the Soviets need 4+ divisions on normal attacks to shift even those divisions and losses often favor the Germans since they arent taking additional heavy equipment losses from retreats in the blizzard. Again Limited winter is middle earth in the Germans favor to coin one of Peltons phrases. Maybe regular blizzard is to much a benefit to Soviets, but limited is massively in favor of Germans and keeps them much to strong compared to what happened historically.
Anyway on to Pictures I circled in Orange the main areas of attacks/action.

Your much weaker then normal if you look at the other AAR's.
Cherry picking one game is not looking at all the data.
You have 18% less troops and my over all morale is 7% higher then the other 2 games, less losses ect ect ect.
Dec is normal blizzard if you cant do anything in December normal or not your simply to weak to do anything.
I fought 20+ standard blizzards to know what I am talking about, but TDV had a work around and can still be on the offensive even under Mild blizzard.
There is a rule book and then there are work arounds once u get an understanding of how the game engine works not just how
it should work.

Dont argue I have less troops than your other two games that got this far. However I have historical Soviet OOB going into winter and the Germans in most locations can just stand there. Thats my complaint. Im making headway I got some of the actual rough patches of the hills back this turn [8D]
Also looks like he had 5.8M men compared to my 5.3M so I was only about 10% fewer in troops in T25.....I chalk this up to my still getting thousands of men per week from the cities in northern Russia you didnt take in our game that you took in your other games. I can afford to lose more men because I still have most of the Large manpower cities. I made a decision to sacrifice troops for recovery power and I think in the long run it will pay off. Gonna be interesting to see 1942.
