A) I never said I have a problem with OT forum post per se. In general it is a good thing for the reasons many have stated. The ONLY thing I took issue with is AITPAE players equating this with the games superiority over other games. This is a fallacious argument. Hell, WITPAE may well be the greatest game ever made but forum activity does not mean a thing.

B) I was not complaing about any time it was taking to answer the question I had posed. It was simply an attempt on my part to redirect the conversation away from my bs to a legitimate question I had. Nothing more, nothing less.

C) IF you were bullwinkle not being insulting by calling the the designer of MWIF a person in an apartment in Honolulu in ill health then I apologize. Perhaps you just have a terse way of expressing things to which your friends have grown accustomed.

In short, I appologize for coming to your elitist party uninvited and taking a dump on your coffee table. It remains my secret (wink) that I also urinated on your fine China. So throw another shrimp on the barbie and eat up.

Annoying enough for ya?

Yeah, you're annoying all right. Mission accomplished. That was your mission when you came over, right?

Any inside scoop on when Matrix might have it's next sale? I'd hate to pull the trigger only to find I could have saved 20 or 30% if I just waited. [8D]

I don't do this sort of thing in PM. I have reasons.

Someone mentioned that they usually have a Christmas sale. I would presume that means December 1st at the latest.

Have fun playing both, even against the AI in WITPAE or against yourself in WIF

People are playing WiF against each other right now, by using Teamviewer. You only have to check the AAR section on that forum.

Just to stay on-topic, it's my understanding that michaelm is now helping the "Command" team to improve their game. Given that "Command" works (even if there are still some wrinkles) and is enjoying a lot of success, I wonder why Matrix didn't ask him to help Steve instead - so to finish a game that, you know, was sold as finished three years ago. But I'm not a programmer, and maybe michaelm is versed in "Command"'s programming language and not in WiF one.

There are a few of us using good old fashioned PBEM - no Skype, no Teamviewer required.

The Matrix Holiday Sale usually starts in late November. I'd hope they'd have a naval game sale before then. [:)]Enjoy![:)]
