One of my sessions playing FITE2 has produced a CSV file and I've opened it with FILE VIEWER LITE ( free for a d/L ) and this is what the contents of the file look like. Notice the lack of column headers. I have no idea what the numbers mean as a result. Also in the red rectangle you can see where runes aren't supported by TOAW IV where the name of the equipment has spurious characters in it.

One of my sessions playing FITE2 has produced a CSV file and I've opened it with Combat Loss Viewer ( free for d/l ) and the output file looks like it worked again. Also, it handled the runes differently.

So this simply gives the same information we get for each battle in the game. From all the previous complaints in this thread that's not what they want. They want running totals of lost equipment, running totals of individual man casualties, end of game loss totals and end of game man casualties. I'm guessing they will have to make their own utilities.

As I mentioned before, the victory summary and leaders was missing from the game and I went back to JTS strategy games to fill the void.

Tiller's games handles leaders basically the same way TOAW does. The only difference is they add the guy's name along with the unit designation. Maybe you were thinking of some other game.

The combat charts show you enemy losses. It's just like real life in that you don't have a computer spitting out the numbers. You have to add stuff. [;)]

Lobster,
Good answer, indeed every combat shows losses for both sides. The air panel shows losses as well but it looks like enemy losses are always vastly overstated each turn.

There is a way to see enemy losses if you're playing against the PO or hotseat solitaire. Just set the game to hotseat and look at the other side's inventory and replacements screen. I don't think the PO will complain about cheating. Granted this won't work for PBEM, but both players can trade screen shots at game's end.
