Will Tacview Advanced (bought from tacview.net) work with C:MO Steam version?

Yes. You just have to set the path to the Tacview executable the first time, and afterwards it will remember it and use it.

Thanks for your reply.
What would you suggest where to buy tacview?

tacview.net:
do i get / can redeem a steam key there?
Do i have to update manually?
Does it support tacview user content?

steam:
automatic updates of tacview?
Workshop support for tacview user models?

Yes. You just have to set the path to the Tacview executable the first time, and afterwards, it will remember it and use it.
One could then remove it from STEAM with their Matrix version of CMO and free oneself from the clunches of Steam if wanted correct?

Or the version I buy from STEAM (Tac View) is not a STEAM linked product and I can take with me? I would assume if purchased with STEAM it would only work with STEAM CMO? I could not load TACVIEW up outside of STEAM?

Sorry very confused trying to separate my products from steam.

Thanks sir.....
My Top Matrix Games 1) CMO MP?? 2) WITP/AE 3) SOW 4) Combat Mission 5) Armor Brigade

It's not confusing. I have a DRM free version of C:MO, so i would like to have a drmfree tacview, too.
But i don't want to miss "the quality of life things" from steam simultaneously.
