I still have a large number of ships to check... will try to go through some more today.

I do not know enough about the land side of things to do a thorough job with land units, though.

I thought I wrote this up before but it's not here so once more:

My thoughts on the Dutch Air force. I think the dutch need a few more pilots, I would say
about 10-12 per month for the entire war. they now drop to 0 in 1944.
Also increase the starting pool from 6 to around 35.

Air frames:

Fighters, right now one of the P-40E lines goes to October 1945
so there are enough back base fighters available. A line of some P-40Ks would be
useful.

Bombers, I would be using these mostly for ASW in bases removed from the front line
since pilots and airframes are somewhat limited. maybe extend the B-25C line out to
about November 1944 and possibly reduce the number to 20.

Transports, there is a dearth of transport aircraft from December 1941 until April 1943
Maybe add a line of c-33s from May 19942 until April 1943 of size 4.

Patrol, I think that the number needs to be increase to about 5 to help ops losses.

Recon, add a better recon aircraft line or two. Maybe some O-47As in mid 1942 and a few
F-4s in early 1943, stopping the O-47As when the F-4s arrive. Not many of each, about 4-6 per month.

- APD T-14 is made available on Mar 21, 1944. It enters with the 6/44 refit. Should it be the 5/43 configuration?
- APD T-15 is made available on Apr 11, 1944. It enters with the 6/44 refit. Should it be the 5/43 configuration?
- APD T-16 is made available on May 1, 1944. It enters with the 6/44 refit. Should it be the 5/43 configuration?
- APD T-17 is made available on May 16, 1944. It enters with the 6/44 refit. Should it be the 5/43 configuration?

- BB Fuso-class can convert to BBX Fuso-class on 12/43. BB Ise-class can convert to BBX Ise-class on 6/43. Are those dates correct?

- The Akagi, Amagi, Hiryu, Soryu, Shokaku, Zuikaku, Kushiro & Tokachi Kansen have an empty future upgrades slot 1. Is it a problem?
- The Hosho, Ibuki, Karasu, Ryujo, Ryukaku & Zuiho Kansen have empty future upgrade slots 1-3. Is that a problem?
- Many of the IJN land-based fighter Hikotai are in a similar situation.
- If the above are a problem, perhaps all reinforcing Kansen should be checked too.

The Stadswacht Milita, Papuan Inf section, and Native Militia devices do not contribute to the AV value of the unit they are in. Is this intentional, or a bug?

8th Australian [6023] at Newcastle has Aus Inf 44 sections instead of CMF or AIF 41 sections.

There are a couple of weird task forces on the British side of the map that are set to strange types given their composition: 425 starts as a transport TF and is named Java Reinforcement but only contains a single CL. It starts at Aden. At Cape Town there is a Surface Combat TF called "convoy" that contains a single tanker.

DE Starling starts the game at Aden, with a refit dated 11/44. Additionally, the ship was not completed until April 1943. The ship should probably arrive much later, with the same fit.

OK. Copied all those lists onto FIVE pages of paper. I've got two hours to work before going to work so I HOPE to address/get everything corrected to this point in the process.

Damn...I mean DAMN! What was up with all those Tachibana-Class DDs? Looks like FatR made the same mistake all the way thru the class of placing them in the original configuration and then forgetting to place them in the 2nd when it occurred.

Got all that detail work fixed Kitakami. Wow. That was something...

Wow...my eyes are crossed. I have everything done to THIS point in the thread.

Few Questions:
1. Kitakami--DD Miojinkaze I could not find.
2. Could someone find the editor unit number for the 4E Training Units?
3. I wasn't able to find the DE Starling that was mentioned. Can someone find the ID Number as well?

Comments:
1. Brit FP groups fixed.
2. Embraced nearly all the Dutch fixes/changes. Added the P-40K as their late-war Ftr, added the bomber, transport, patrol, and recon changes. Dutch AF will be a bit more relevant.
3. Fixed Allied TF 4425 by adding several AKs to it.

Plan to wait until Sunday to send revamped files.

Keep hunting team!

DE Starling is id #9160 starts in Aden

USAAF 4-engine training unit is #2256

DD Myojinkaze is #8249 in Scen 70 and 75

As an add on, CV Wasp #3007 comes as a Yorktown 12/41 class, it should start as a 4/42 Yorktown.

Wasp is a GREAT catch!

Later tonight I will get these little things done.

Kitakami--I assume you'll work thru the Allies ships as well? The Japanese work you did is outstanding.

John,

I will gladly go through the Allied navies if there is no Allied Fanboy who wants to take a whack at it. I cannot before Monday, though.

We're releasing without the China change. When Michael is done with it we'll offer BTS H & L with a Big B China Option.

Happy Easter All.

I agree Nomad. Michael says he'll get back on it this weekend and next weekend. Maybe we'll have it by the time we've play-tested the Mods? We'll see...

Everyone should expect the revamped files at some point today. Went thru and got the little stuff done this morning.

Happy Easter!

USN - CVs & CVLs only:

- Should CV-Boxer (USN CV-21) be Essex 'Long Hull'-class instead of Essex 'Short Hull'-class
- CVL Varennes is made available on Mar 16, 1943. It enters with the 4/43 configuration, which is the earliest. Should something be changed?
- CVL Independence is made available on Mar 16, 1943. It enters with the 4/43 configuration, which is the earliest. Should something be changed?
