Clean up on aisle 3 (otherwise known as I gotta wait a turn to have the Soviet Units to the west of Riga surrender. One of those slimy Soviet units routed out of my pocket though
I normally don't leave gaps in my line but I ran out of units for some strange reason to cover the yellow box area. Soviets shouldn't have anything in the area so no puckering here to worry about.
rumanian FBD. I start worrying about getting Odessa quick now. I need it in hand by turn 5/6 at the latest. I am praying my opponent doesn't decide to defend there.
This is a pretty rough, and I mean rough, strategy. I litterly will have "nothing" for most of the map beside infantry. I am Strong far North and far South and neither can support the other. It is rough.
Still waiting on turn 13 from opponent who said they are traveling. Received a message that turn would be done by 25th but it is the 27th. As such, on to Turn 3!
Soviets decide to retaliate on 1/1 PZ Rgmt with 10 bombing attacks . Not much I can do about it since I couldn't get "supplied" aircraft to the vicinity to protect my ground boys.
BUT I have my new airbase in hand around DAS Reich
I did not intercept any of the attacks (out of range) BUT the Soviets learned from last turn not to have unescorted bombers and all the bombing this time had escorts . Hard lesson but was learned well.
