WitP and girlfriends

Lets just say i am glad i got hitched prior to WiTP comming out or i would still be single.... HUMMMMMMMM is that a good thing or a bad thing??????[&:]

Statistically, married men live longer, giving more time for WITP, however, you must factor in time devoted to wife... so i guess it would depend on the wife.[:D]

My girlfriend actually suprised me the first time she saw me testing WitP by correctly identifying the region of the map i was working with. Not to suggest that guroils cant read maps....it was just that she instantly recognized it where other non-wargaming guys i know who prefer "DOOM" type games would have required a prompt to recognize the land masses.

Turns out she is one of the few, the proud, the students who stayed awake during history classes in grade school. [:D]

Course none of that stops her from rolling her eyes whenever i spend long hours on it and saying "Men........"

To mis quote an old joke,
has anyone considered a wife and a girl friend, that way the wife thinks you are with the girl friend and the girl friend thinks you are with the wife so you can get a few turns in on WITP. And hopefully the twain shall never meet.[:D][:D][:D]
