Although short of supplies the troops reliably inform me that capture of this pub will cut of the airfield.

west of Wyndam my little NLF has run into an un identified unit, this should be interesting

Way down south in the gulf, troops are 15 miles inland, 45 to cutting off the road to darwin
In the phillipines all is quiet, troops recovering about 5 points everyday
China, I pull back from the north, I just want him focused to the North, as my troops slowly crawl to the south by the coast road

As I see it, Sumutra will need the 3 divisions
The 5 in the phillipines will be needed for the south DEI, especially soerabaya, and balikapapn and tarakan have to be taken
This is at least 2 months, cant release the phillipine ones for at least 2 months
I cant see all the invasions finished now until may
So, it will be KB as the only offensive weapon I have, for new conquests.
I cant get around it, after the phillipine fiasco, capturing the DEI will be the end of my offensives
No adventures this game.

In Burma our advance on Akyab must now be apparent

I have put no replacements for all china units, this seems to be helping the manpower fill out quicker
After DEI I am seroiusly considering calling a halt to further invasions, ( other than Burma)its only Febuary, and already Im digging in.
Australia will be very interesting. I will have 2, 3 airfields, he will have alice springs, maybe cooktown. The counter attack will be bombed a lot enroute.
At worse, this gambit is going to give Port Moresby and the solomons a lot more time to build up (and Im a busy beaver there at the moment)

In China troops are trickling into canton, to the North the numbers of troops in Wunchow , and on the road to nanning fluctuate daily. This will be interesting.
KB retires, I want it settled into TRUK, or Rabual. AKagi and Kaga are due for refit
Examining the airgroups, 4 zero ones on Akagi and Kaga were half strength.
So the Vals left behind in Japan are coming south to rejoin Kaga and Akagi, and thezeros flew off to kendari. here the guest groups were disbanded into the "proper" airgroups.
Overall KB fliers remain at full strength, and experience levels on the reformed groups are extrodinary.
BB Hiei struggles along, she will need a lot of yard time.

The big decision is the setting up of a permanant patrol line east of japan, a string of pgs, backed by a single AO. Will be interesting to see if this is viable
