Well, I got the download, but ModSwap can't get past 1005.wav.
Is this a bad download, & can I fix it somehow?

Uninstall any other mods you may have installed, then try

Dl'd fine, installed fine with ModSwap. Game works fine. Shows Enh FV on main screen, 8.403.

In cover is little foxholes. Looks funny around a traincar but better than some other choices, lol

Hi!

You can download the Enhanced mod FV from this link:

http://spwaw.com/downloads/SPWAW_Enhanced_FV.spm

Nox a.k.a. Lahtinen
all I get from that link is a bunch of gibberish??

The problem when using other web browser than IE is that the browser may try to open the .spm file. To prevent that you must right click the link and choose "save as..." or similar. Then it will download the file instead of trying to view it.

That is the reason why it is not so good to post files that are not zipped first. Although the mod itself is basicaly just a renamed ZIP -file it confuces some web browsers.

Alby,

I got it now, thanks.

I had uninstalled v2 in anticipation of FV. I must have had a bad download. I tried again for the Depot site and ModSwap worked this time.

Question: How do I get the IronCross(s) back? The Batbut and Icon0016 files have not been overwritten, but Battle & Icon0061 are included in FV. I can live with some Iron Cross, some Swastika, but if there is an easy fix I'd like to do it.

Again, I appreciate all the effort that you & others have put into this Mod.

Thanks.

The best solution is to do what was done long ago for the game: create two versions of the Battle, Batbut, Icon0016 and Icon0061 files, one with the swastika and one with the iron cross.

Yes, I have the two versions. I prefer the Iron Cross.

My guess is that the swastika is in the FV versions of Battle & Icon0061. If I overwrite them with my standard copies, won't I lose any other FV items in those files?

Yes, that what I was trying to say. Completely new versions of those 4 files, one set with the iron cross and one set with the swastika need to be created using the current FV SHP files. If you replace the existing files with the older versions, you'll lose the corrected graphics for the Battle screen and the Romanian flag.

I understand.

That means I'll operate with mixed files (old Iron Cross - Batbut & Icon0016)(FV Swastika - Battle & Icon0061) until replacements are made. I'm not smart enough to know how to do it myself.

Thanks again for all your efforts, and patience with us boneheads.
