The only action is the B-25D1s bombing Mili again
I should note that these pilots are not well trained on low ground bombing. But, they are gaining on that skill
everyday, plus their strafing skill and their experience. OJT is needed sometimes.

An intriguing turn.

During the night I lost an LST with supplies by Horn Island
the sad thing is that my 52 ASW could not score an type of hit on the sub.
The 3 DDs are Fletcher subs.

The two xAKLs were small 2 point ships. Tracker says he lost 8 Nells and 3 Zeros for those two ships and

Then on the ground he did a bombardment attack at Changsha, he has not done anything there for a while

Something I should have expected and done different, Xargun swept Cox's Bazar with Franks
Morning Air attack on Cox's Bazar , at 54,43

Group patrol altitude is 25000

5 plane(s) not yet engaged, 0 being recalled, 0 out of immediate contact.
Group patrol altitude is 12000
Time for all group planes to reach interception is 11 minutes
But it was not a real disaster, I lost 22 Hurricanes but 6 were write offs and of the 16 air-2-air losses I only
lost 6 pilots. He lost 4 Franks, 2 air-2-air and 2 ops.

It would appear I have eliminated all enemy forces on Mili, after todays bombing there is no LCU icon showing
and all my bomber squadrons reverted to commanders choice. So off to bomb Jaluit and a regiment to land at
Mili and claim it for the Allies.

Forces landed at Merauke. There is an enemy TF icon showing a bit NW of Merauke, so I will suspend unloading
supply and move South while I attack.

He did a DA at Ansi and I lost a few troops, but I do have more arriving soon

Ground combat at Ansi (80,23)

There is a TF 9 hexes NE of Truk that shows as 3 x CA. I am unsure what it might be
since it is 14 hexes from Ponape and that is my closest PBYs. I have not seen KB is a while
and it would be like Xargun to made a quick dash into the Marshall Islands and try to
sink a few ships. I have dispatched the DS to investigate.

I think doing a DA against 3 armoured units at Ansi would be unsuccessful, maybe even a disaster. The Chinese have a few 2 pounder A/T guns per unit but they are mostly used in defensive role, not in attacks. And Ansi does not have any urban terrain to help the attackers get close to the tanks.

I am not sure why, but my air units attacked his BB TF instead of KB. It may have been weather
since he did not launch either. The BBs were 7 hexes away and no torpedoes were carried.

Xargun and I have discussed this turn on Discord. I think we have a serious problem with CV - CV engagements. This is the second time that
my attack has gone pear shaped. And the second time his CV TF has reacted to close the range and then not launched an attack.
Notice that I had no fighters escort my attack but I have fighters set for escort 0% CAP, 13,000 feet and range 10.

At this time I am going to wait until later, Xargun is going to delete his game directory and reinstall his copy of the game. I feel that it must
be his install because that is where the turn is resolved.

If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear about them

Well, after a couple of tests, it seems like maybe my exe was at fault, we have both reinstalled the game and we are pressing on

We are not completely sure, but we think we have fixed our problem.

KB moved away, I have no idea where, I have no DL on it at all.

Mili was taken this turn, no opposition.

At Merauke, all enemy forces have been eliminated.

Bombing of forces on Maloelap continues.

Your Avengers were bombing from 4000 feet and your SBDs were releasing at 2000 or 3000 feet (no indication of approach altitude other than detection estimate of 10K). At 13,000 feet your fighters were too high to escort the bombers.
