Every week I get a about a thousand more points .. at this rate so I cannot afford to wait forever...YET.... am hoping the pace of points gained will accelerate to allow me to avoid such a blood bath... I am getting a good base in Swatow.. and soon my huge army there will get up and going up the coast.. points for bases in China add little though, a few thousand points matters little .. the real points come in the DESTRUCTION of strategic resources in JApan proper @ 20/each! yippee! I am concetrating my 29s.. and soon will be adding 24 to iwo to further it as a shorter lba bomber base... it is a 6, so swatownw at 9 gets b29s flying 20 hexes at full intensity, where IWO at 6 never gets b29 at full loadout at any range...
I am geting some more airbases in Northern china hit.. and that is one thing that advancing into Northeastern Zone adds.. as well as Attacking Korea.. the ability to more easily attack his Rear areas...I think I lead around 5k.. or around 8%

I see no ships remaining in Tokyo, so some must have sunk although nothingyet shows on the "dailies"
I am raiding China currently and giving the 24's at Iwo a needed respit
One DS now closing on Port A.. the other falling back from Tokyo

Canton units heading into Hong Kong just to gine you an idea.. I have probable 12k planes in China, LOTS of supplies now due to opening several ports.. Canton the two by Taan and Swatow.. and the great leberation of northern China will begin soon, as wil the first step in INVASION JAPAN

After the fall of HK I now hold almost every base from Swatow to Karachi along the coast.. one tiny island/coastl base without points/troops was bipassed near Saigon and Camron Bay was bi-passed.. now we advanc on the rest of China..
My fleets are ready, and the Northern DS near Korea has beaten off several more waves of Kamikasis
The score is around 6k ad to me, with about 8k in stat points, but 150 plus ships are no more in Tokyo, and they didn't ever show up as a tf?? so I assume they are reefmakers and just not yet reported.. so ad some points there.. B24 from Iwo cont to bomb Tokyo area.. 29 from Swatow target anything from airfields to ports to Japan home Island targets, last turn hitting Gumma

My naval assualt force almost out the door.. soon anouther attack? any guesses?

HK should fall today.. 250k to 10 k.. Japs lost around 11k last turn there.. I just do not seem to get much for points in Jap squads.. I thought they where pretty good like 1 point per 3 sqauds.. I will look thst up in the manual..
Massive thrust out of Swatow, supported by concentrated air attacks.. this is the first ground attack turn, interesting to see how I fare against anew force of troops.. they should be reletively fresh and they have high number150k to my 300 k and rising
I do have a huge number of tanks and artillery supported by on sight eng and hq

Bombers continue to pound korea and Northern china coast.. attempting to rid jap of the need to mind her merch fleet

OK, I am slowly removing all the Resource and HI I can find to bomb..
I am considering launching a Home Island Invasion with all my free troops once we blow through china last atttack dropped level to 7.. 4555k to 130kish.. and I have anouther 200k troops traveling uip the road..
One strange thing.. even though I have several Air HQ giving air support.. with no losses and 500k supply.. my total air support went to 0 in Swataow.. sinc it is my main air base if it really is 0 tthat would be a real ball/game buster/.. actually nothing short of us not being able to transmit our files would stop this monster as we close in on 03 1945

We are back on the road to Shanghi again.. and the great pre invasion invasion is under way against a target yet to be seen
Sasebo is the hub of a mighty600 plus jap airfield.. so many planes naval and lba targettign it.. hopefluuy I will get some decent attacks as without 38's these attacks can be very bad.. only have two 51 groups hurts... of course the carriesrs of ds-1 nearbt will be supporting with fighters... some of them only carry fighters!

Can you believe my supply req at Swatow is almost 200k?[&o] I about pooped.. How long can his troops march without supplies?.. thoe cutt off guys keep going and going ...

Foochow now in my sights in China.. First turn was pretty bad on the Island.. only one of four fansports landed troops... ok? not a dglowing report from 100 prepped out troops with a hq there too!
Next turn we will see the mani assualt force land if things go well.. DS-1 now coveringthe invasion and doing limited air attacks... BB's and a smaller CA group did som initial prep bombards.. It only has 13k troops per the reports.. no big deal after Iwo which had 60k!

But they have been ignored, no reasion to tip my hand too soon, and the airbases nearby are all being shut down.. Seasabo, sp?.. at 99 damage to the runway, unfortunately not more air units on the ground.. must have moved some away... I note with some excitement several ports that still have ships in them[X(]

Why "A" you ask..

Well, after Iwo, which was successfull but very bloody.. I did not want to invade against either Taiwn or OKI knowingthey gbothahad HUGE numbers.. probably over 250k??? ask z about that one.. And deciding on China was an easy choice..
Gave me access to suuper large bases to host 29's and thus no need for OKI, and "a" has 1-1 so I can build up to 4-4 and host 24's and 38s amd tacticle/naval planes and DOMINATE the straghts by Korea.. Lunch in Soeul anyone?????

I lost a lot of planes.. yep.. unescorted bombers in Korea took it hard.. almost at 10k over Z in points.. seems to be my current ceiling.. but ships prev sunk show up later at times.. many merchies sunk in Korean ports and Tokyo
China is an interesting show as my now stronger chinese troops help.. amazing what good supplies do.. another reqason for bypissing OKI.. neede all the troops to lib HK and Swatow
not too much damage at Amami either.. and seabees already where in the invasion mix

He is in tough shape,having not too much more air units left, not much more Resourse produing bases, not too much HI,, some in Northern Japan and Manchuria.. lots of Industry, but little HI.. I have not the fogiest idea where to start the big invasion.. but little "A" the Island group I just took, Amami, will be a nice base to get a protective umbrealla up.. I have a large transport fleet dedicated to troops only.. so moving those guys from China after they are done will not be too hard.. I think I have around 30k assault points to work with.. and lots of airpower... just got my first real 72 strong p51 units.. they only add one hex, but that is alot from 11 to 12.. I will be able to hit most of korea once this base gets up too.. it starts at 1 1 so buildabl;e to 4 4... plenty big for my 24's raining down loads on Zeta16's cites.. I currently have two DS and two smaller ds.. three BB bombard groups and one BB surface group... Multiplied thusands of tactical air fielded in China...

Early in our game I lost a huge army, and it never came back.. boy would I like another 15 corps.. they are great with high supply and experience!
