Here's a Gustav so far. Is this the scheme you had in mind. She still needs work, but I didn't want to go too far if it's the wrong one.

Not sure this can be done but I would love to see the USN PT boats redone so that they take up as much of the frame as possible, but just the ship back not transparent. Ideally wouldn't mind seeing all the small ships done this way but PT's would be fine for a start.

I thought about doing that with the smaller US landing craft and adding an island/jungle off to one side in the background, but never got around to it.

It's the same idea with a/c, I want to see the whole ship not some two or three tiny little pixels. Of course you don't change the transparent so combat animations look right. I already got my(Dixie's) PT with a snazzy new background in game and looks great. Btw if you do a palm trees background could you post it I'd like to go with that instead.
