RE: Stickied thread for minor database issues?
Possible error in DB3000 Facility_3218 and 3219 (67N6 and 67N6E Gamma-D radar). I've located an export information sheet located at https://www.radartutorial.eu/19.kartei/ ... df_282.pdf (Note: this is in Russian. I've cut and pasted a Google Translate version below at the bottom. I have bolded the translated version). This indicates a couple of possible errors: The CMO data gives teh bandwith as NATO F-band (3-4 Ghz) The export sheet indicates the "decimeter" range (0.3-3 Ghz). This agrees with https://www.radartutorial.eu/19.kartei/ ... 63.en.html, which says it operates in the NATO D-band, and the Rosoboronexport page, which claims a high UHF band range. https://roe.ru/eng/catalog/air-defence- ... 867N6E%29/ . See also https://www.globalsecurity.org/military ... ar-rus.htm (claiming it operates in the IEEE "L-band, equivalent to the NATO D-band).
Additionally, the database shows a max detection range of 300nm. In contrast, the the instrumented range is 400 km (216 nm)( https://www.radartutorial.eu/19.kartei/ ... 63.en.html) although the Rosoboronexport page indicates it can be modified to a 500km/270nm range, albeit with an (undefined) loss of altitude capability.
Radar station "Gamma-DE" is designed for effective
detection, identification, determination of three coordinates and tracking
a wide class of modern and promising air attack weapons,
including high-altitude stealth aircraft missiles (targets), in conditions
strong electronic countermeasures and natural interference, and
receiving information from an aircraft equipped with a transponder in codes
ICAO.
The radar can be used in automated and non-automated
air force and air defense control systems, as well as a route radar for
control posts and air traffic control.
The main differences between the station:
block-modular construction of equipment;
phased array antenna;
digital signal processing;
solid-state transmitters of various powers;
using information from other means of intelligence;
availability of automatic control and diagnostic equipment, systems
air conditioning, automatic fire system
alarms and fire extinguishing, other service devices;
the delivery of a set of remote equipment is provided,
ensuring the operation of the radar at a distance of up to 15 km from the checkpoint when pairing
by radio communication line, as well as the ability to delete
radar control room from the APU at a distance of up to 1000 meters;
ease of repair.
Main characteristics:
Working wavelength range: decimeter
View area::
by range, km: 10 - 400
in elevation, degree: -2 ... + 60
in azimuth, degree: 360
in height, km: 120
Target detection range:
with EPR 1 m2: 400
with EPR 0.1 m2: 240
Coordinate determination accuracy:
range, m: 60 - 100
azimuth, ang. min .: 10 - 11
by elevation angle, ang. min .: 15 - 18
Number of accompanied (tracks), not less: 200
Coefficient of suppression of reflections from local objects, dB: 50
Space review period / information update period, from: 10/5
Time of continuous work, hour: 72
Deployment time, min:
on a wagon trailer: 20
on a car chassis: 5

RE: Stickied thread for minor database issues?
The AC-130H Spectre has a couple ammunition issues. According to FAS https://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/ac-130.htm
AC-130H (DBID 1141, 1617, 2282) should have 3000x M61 20mm rounds (30 bursts) and 256x M60 40mm rounds (128 bursts) the 105mm is good.
AC-130U (DBID 429, 1618, 2281) should have the same 40mm Ammo (256rds/ 128 bursts) but this ref says they carry 3000 rds of 25mm (150 bursts) : https://meggittdefense.com/product/spec ... n-storage/
AC-130U (DBID 738) & AC-130J (DBID 3173) look fine (cannot find a ref for the 30mm ammo but 640 looks OK)
AC-130A (DBID 622) Should (cannot find reference) have the same 20 & 40mm ammo but the 2000x 7.62 seems very low - perhaps missing a '0'.
The only relevant bit in this ref is the infographic on page 5 where it says the H could carry up to 10 tons of ammo, that seems high.

Possible error in DB3000 Facility_997, 1000, 561 (AN/TPS-59(V)3. the radar is given a max range of 400nm in the database. According to "TM 2000-OD/2C, PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF U.S. MARINE CORPS COMMUNICATION-ELECTRONICS EQUIPMENT'. 2005. https://info.publicintelligence.net/USM ... ipment.pdf., the radar has the following max ranges against the following targets:
Max Range (airbreather (ABT)): 4-200 nm
Max Range (TBM tgt): 4-400 nm
So while the 400 nm range is not inaccurate for a TBM role, it is only 200 nm against airborne targets.

Hello friends.
I propose the modification in the DB of the SAM S-300V family.
Let's see the following graph:
-S-300V1 / SA12A (entry into service 1983) "The development of the S-300V system was carried out in two stages. In the first stage, the system was created to combat aerodynamic targets, cruise and tactical ballistic missiles".

Use of TELAR 9A83 and TEL 9A85 vehicles and 9M83 "Gladiator" missile with a range of 75 km.
-S-300V2 / SA12B (Entry into service 1988) "In the second stage of work, the system was refined to ensure the fight against Pershing-1 type ballistic missiles, aeroballistic missiles and patrol jammers".

Article 9 April 2020
SAM 9M82MV (9М82МВ in Russian) after successful design and factory tests by our Ministry of Defense "is not noticed" and the S-300V4 air defense system was not introduced. But in the media there was information about the introduction of a similar missile defense system into the S-500 air defense system being developed. This is probably correct. But the reality is that the S-300V family of air defense systems, already deployed in the theater of operations (in the military districts), which include a specialized autonomous radar for detecting ballistic targets and ensuring their most effective defeat, as well as a successfully tested gas-dynamic missile, this missiles are not included. And in the developed S-500 air defense system, which has less capabilities for detecting ballistic targets, especially those separated in flight by the MRBM main unit, an air defense missile interception missile system is introduced, created, by the way, on the basis of technical solutions implemented in the C-300V4 air defense missile system.
What is it - a lack of understanding of the current situation or lack of initiative and negligence? And where is military science and its opinion on this issue?
The author is Alexander Luzan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation,retired lieutenant general, former chairman of the State Commission on
tests of the S-300VM air defense system - the predecessor of the S-300V4,ex-deputy commander (chief) of the Air Defense Forces of the Land Armament Troops - Chief Engineer of the Air Defense Forces of the Ground Forces
So intercepts above 35km of height is not possible and a max range of about 30 km againtst ballistic target, see picture from the same article.

RE: Stickied thread for minor database issues?
There are possible errors with 055/DF-100 from the recent DB updates. DBv487 still have the same issue.
For "#2834 Type 055 destroyer", number of channels for the SA-10 missile datalink is wrong. in DB487 it has a value of 1. In the cheaper and older 052D, the number of SA-10 channel is 24.
So now a 055 can only hit one aerial target at a time, while 052D can handle 24.
Also For "#3669 DF-100", the cruise attitude is 24000 ft AGL. I suppose it is a typo and mean 240,000 ft instead? This thing was flying at Mach 4.6 and Band1 Performance section states it has a ceiling of 1,850,000 feet.
