You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

I've championed The Four Seasons (Vivaldi) previously. For some reason this has been recomposed by Max Richter. Whatever the reason - and whatever recomposed means - it is well worth a listen to. And as for this track, well.... if you looked up the definition of Ball.Bouncingly. Beautiful I suspect you'd find this:

Re: What music are you listening to now?
Showdown time, who has the best version, of "Love Letters".
Hands down, only 1-version is worth listening to.
There's a clear winner, Ketty Lester.
The rest I wouldn't want to hear, even in an elevator.
#1 Ketty Lester: This is by far, the winner, no one came close. Song with an eerie desperation, that fits the obsession of the lyrics.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-kiSd73mag
*** BIG DROP-OFF ***
#2 Julie London: It's a female song, you scratched out a 2nd place barely.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtYPRNs8AeU
#3 Elvis Presley: Sorry Elvis, this song was not meant for you. I don't believe you read Love letters, only Fan Letters.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkxHMF1a8aQ
#4 Alison Moyet: rough 80's version, trying to bring back the past, forget about it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6uATC-u9rw
#5 Nat King Cole: Way, way to slow, orchestra awful on the back-up. Painful
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sy4jDt6bkG8
#6 Toni Tennille: Not even the Captain could save you here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NRnG5ieGRE
#7 Diana Krall: Give it up. I doubt any dude would send you a Love Letter, you're odd. Why record this.

Joey Ramone and the Money Honey ---> Maria Bartiromo
Joey is such a Legend, love his music. Then mix in Maria, wow, love her since the Squawk Box days. The lyrics really sums it up. She's an Italian-American legend. "I watch you on the TV every single day".

Re: What music are you listening to now?
An American treasure. No, a world treasure. If the devil didn't get him, he's singing now. This dude got charisma 18, for the D&D players. My favorite part is the "mmmm". How he says "Telly-phone", lol. This guy got it all. The voice, looks, humor, moves, etc.
My parents got young Elvis, we got Madonna/M.Jackson saturating the radio, not fair.
Elvis Presley "Don't Be Cruel" (January 6, 1957) on The Ed Sullivan Show
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpKyFTYvhpU
You know I can be found
Sitting home all alone
If you can't come around
At least please telephone
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true
Baby, if I made you mad
For something I might have said
Please, let's forget my past
The future looks bright ahead
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true
I don't want no other love
Baby it's just you I'm thinking of, mmh
Don't stop thinking of me
Don't make me feel this way
Come on over here and love me
You know what I want you to say
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true
Why should we be apart?
I really love you baby, cross my heart
Let's walk up to the preacher
And let us say I do
Then you'll know you'll have me
And I'll know that I'll have you
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true
I don't want no other love

I'd rather prefer metal guitars. Love that fist bump at the end of the "solos" played in perfect synchronization.

I do enjoy classical music from time to time, especially when I need to concentrate. Composers like Beethoven and Mozart are timeless.

Damn right. I must say these two - in terms of quantity AND quality - are the standards. But plenty of others have composed music that makes your heart sing.
