The Germans were not fast enough. [;)]

It matters only, as far as I know, for propaganda purposes,

Kidding aside. I didn't think it mattered so I just entered Lyons so you would have more freedom of movement.

Land Combat:

1) Italy attacks Marseilles with all adjacent units 21:3 expected before support. If France, as expected, provides defensive shore bombardment then the NAV3 will provide 2 points in ground support and land in Genoa. Milan MIL takes the first loss and Rome MIL the second. If the city is captured and the Rome MIL survived then it advance into the city. If the Rome MIL is unavailable then the MECH advance into the city.

2) Japan attacks Sian with all adjacent units. 40:8 expected. 5th MOT Div is assigned as first loss unit and the 2nd Inf Div as second loss unit. If the city is captured then the 2nd MOT and the 28th GARR advance into the city.

Rebase:

The Ki-32 rebase from Nanning to, if possible, Sian. Otherwise it rebases to Tungkwan.

No reorganization.

I'm really sorry about the land throws [:(]

Once again in a series of throws I can't get into the top half (average 5)......and as for the air battles, another 5 points to 2 in the French favour (at least that wasn't me this time [:)]).

But if there is one consolation, and its probably not much when I've just thrown an average 2 for you, if it had been the other way around, the game would be really desperate for the Axis....

5 - 2? If you counted BPS then the count is wrong. It was 4 - 2 in the French favour.

That is a huge consolation. I had a huge smile for much of Christmas Eve due to the success on the West front. And my attacks wasn't all bad. It was only one Axis land unit lost and it could have been four. [:)]

Although, I am beginning to wonder how it feels to roll well. [:D]

I counted the LND as three in error then - oh well, just the 100% differential [;)]

It looks like there is just the one attack on for the Germans - against the MECH. Not much that I can see for Italy or Japan by way of land?

T'was a question about Partisans as I was worried about my disorganised aircraft. But I can see from the table I have enough garrison to ensure no partisans can appear in France.

No attack on the French 8th Corps? It looks like 4:1 blitz on a first glance. To bad that the railway is blocked so that one can not rail the HQ even closer to the front.

I've just got to finish my latest turn of TOAW and then I'll take a look.

The Germans units south of the river are out of supply or are you suggesting I can use one of your HQ (rail move) to bring them back in supply? If so then that would be gratefully received!!

Of course. That is one of the reasons of their locations. [:)]

Okay thanks - I'll plan on the basis that either Graziani or Balbo moves to (58,32).

Land for the Germans and no orders ahead of land movement please (I assume you will be doing the first part as usual?). Thanks.
