Italy search in CSV. Any air added? It can reach up to the 2-box.

No strategic bombing. No ground strikes. No rail movement.

Minor movement for Japan in Burma and southern China. More land movement expected for all Axis powers by the German player.

I'm on page 282, taking it page by page. Early attacks in Southern France, Denmark, Northern France, South-west France, Africa not cleared, Italy still in the war. Russia, we shall see if the engage everywhere strategy creates opportunity. Who is the grand stategist responsible for this disaster?

Cant remember all the rules but do all those German shatter results mean they reappear as reinforcements, cost free? Oh boy.

Yes, shattered units arrive at turn end.

Do you mean Allies? We planned it together but I play Westen Allies in Europe and ultimately decide details.

Lol, yes the Allies and I was just poking some fun.

More seriously, the number of Italian units was quite staggering later on. I assume from not taking them out, and resource lending. It seemed to answer a strategic question of mine of Africa, then Italy first (traditional) vs they are not a serious threat, lets go into France. Think they had an impact.

Russia sure stopped Germany cold, I think that one counter attack at the river line was pivotal, from there German seemed to just have a hold strategy, whether or not their airm was for more, that I don't know. Or...was that a result of simply not enough units due to multiple France invasions that had to be dealt with?

Would be great to get the players thoughts on lessons learned, mistakes made, dice rolls (there was some bitching lol).

How long has this game been going on, crazy, is it a record?

Thanks for sharing it, the scope is insane.

The other observation i had which I think someone commented on, is the use of all the ART, AA, AT and divisions creating so many 2D results..., and IMHO is quite gamey, would rather see the 2D result go to corps, (or did you play that way, hmmmm, im getting old). It does add some cool units though.

When I played solo I wouldn't use them, just too much time commitment.

And now for some other unwanted opinions ;)

There seemed, since I haven't played in a while, just so many air units, quite staggering, looking at the med for instance it was quite locked up with axis air mid way through, daunting. And was the same everywhere.

Vladivostok, can't remember all the rules, but no side chose peace between Japan and Russia, could that have been forced by one player?

Also amazing, whatever the strategy, it all comes crashing down, so fruitless the suffering, for an end result that is inevitable, or almost that is. All depends on Russia outcome and the US of course. What a tragedy. All roads lead to Russia...crazy.

Expert players, you guys!

I hope to begin our impulse tomorrow. Had some difficulty coordinating things with the German player.

Things have been hectic lately for me as well. Hopefully. it will be better in a month or two. In our other game peskpesk have been playing Italy remotely for a while now to spped that game up. Alas, that is not possible for Germany in this one.
