CENTPAC captures the bases on Guam but the casualties are high. I US Corps will rest for a few days before we resume the assault.
B-24s bomb the level 4 AF at Pagan while B-29s bomb the level 4 AF at Agrihan. Carrier Avengers hit level 5 Japanese AFs on Rota and Tinian destroying another 51 AC on the ground.
Multiple construction regiments and BFs will be landed at Guam next turn to get the AF and port up and running ASAP. Over a dozen AE/AKE/ADs as well as a score of tankers will be disbanded in port to refuel and re-arm Fifth Fleet. With a forward port now in the Marianas.... it will be much easier for CENTPAC and Fifth Fleet to shut down the rest of the Japanese bases in the Marianas.
Additional amphib transports approach the Marinas now loaded with assault forces for the next CENTPAC invasion.

We will attack again at Mauban next turn after a heavy aerial bombardment. It really doesnt matter though if we can reopen the supply line from southern Luzon to northern Luzon as we will be opening ports and AFs at Lingayen and Iba after we capture them. Japanese held northern Luzon has now been cut in half by SWPAC.
