AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 08/15/42
Air to air battles are turning more and more favorable as I intercept weak enemy
units over Java and unescorted bombers over India and in the South Pacific.
27 enemy ac shot down for the cost of 3 Zeros today! Op losses are rather heavy though,
16 ac were lost today. A lot of operations for the moment, some from medium to long range.

Felt really, really good to bag such a substantial amount of Allied troops. Were some quality units
among them including a full UK division. The flank has been cleared, we're marching on Karachi!

India
A special update as we prepare for major operations against Karachi and Malir!
The Southern Area Army is composed of the 25th and 14th Armies.
One division is at sea:
4th Div at sea, heading for the Indian Ocean. 28 pp for Karachi
The rest are spread out between Ahmadabad and Rawalpindi:
2nd Div 32 pp for Karachi
5th Div 100 pp for Karachi
16th Div 34 pp for Malir
18th Div 100 pp for Karachi
21st Div 26 pp for Malir
33rd Div 33 pp for Malir
34th Div 34 pp for Karachi

A mighty fleet sailed from Singapore today. We already have 4 replenishment fleets well on their way to the Indian Ocean.
I might run a little low if the battle drags out, but there are fuel reserves in Panaji, Bombay and Trimcomallee.

The plan is to run 3 fast surface groups into Karachi first to destroy the RN and then let 2 battleship groups bombard.
I will try to move in as many Zeros as possible, and if air supremacy can be won without paying a too high price we will move in 150 Army bombers.
