When my father took me to Lancashire he had to tell me off for blowing into my tea because it was too hot. He explained the correct thing was to pour it into the saucer and wave your flap cap over it before pouring it back in when cooled! [:D][:D]

In Iran in the 80's (I don't know what they do now) you poured the tea from the cup into the saucer and then drank it from that. If you took sugar, you held the sugar lump in your mouth.
