and bombarding it by sea ( BB's ) and still they don't have a scratch. And they have an organic supply source in that hex. So I may
have to just bypass this bad boy and carry on somewhere else.

Pull some troops out of China and deploy them elsewhere. You have full divisions in some places facing only
much smaller Chinese units.
Pull them out and send them rampaging on other fronts (Burma, Australia) where the presence of three or four full-strength
Japanese divisions can still make a difference.
In the long run, even if the Chinese regain Hong Kong or even Beijing, that won't win the war for the allies. But trying
to hold them back may lose the Japanese a lot of opportunities in the early stages of the war.
