This attack freed up my infantry so that they may go north and clear out the Russian fort line which is holding up my Fins advance.

It was at this moment that the thinking cap came on.

Possibilities.

1 Continue smashing East.

2 Do a reasonable encirclement in this area.

3 Start sending tanks south.

4. Smash south east toward northern Moscow area.

I decide to smash east. At the same time I will start sending tanks south.
Can't move them all at once and I want to keep HYLA troops up here if Possible.

In next few turns I will soon stop my march east, do a move south east as a feint, and keep sending tanks south.

the feint is to keep Russians troops in theatre plus cant move my tanks all in same turn.

THIS IS NOT TANK TERRITORY!

Moscow area. I actually had thoughts that maybe I could advance on Moscow.

Lots of industry is just waiting to be devoured.

Down south

Notice the mud area.

Far south is clear and attempt made to clear river line of enemy.
Rumanians do a good effort

Middle final. One thing about my battles: the enemy is not always on top of each other.

North final.

I am contemplating doing just enough attacks on trapped Leningrad and then holding all these Russian troops (The cav corps)as prisoners in their own city. Slowly melting away. If done right, I can guard them with minimal force.

Well executed offensive around Leningrad!
I have only one question why you will not destroy trapped units? It can free whole finish army for you and you can try to conquer Cherepovets or send whole army grupe north to different sectors for another major offensive..

Congrats on closing Leningrad, it has been a long and hard fight! I would recommend you to let them be for a couple of turns and then properly clean the pocket. The enemy will be much more weaker and depleted by that time.

Cheers!

further north more rr cuts on the main line south.

One cut seems to be in a 3 stacked hex.
